pretty dissapointed by the quality of animation on 'polar express' overall good for the day but the facial animation looks dull and lacks emotion.

quarantine is good but i'm not really sure if I like the way they shot footage kinda reminded of how the footage looked in the Blair which project but other wise it was good.

definately among the best movies i've seen, was really surprised by it.
kevin costner and john hurt's performance was amazing, add on a hell of a story and you get this..haha

also dane cook did pretty good.

Both great films (Jacobs Ladder and Rec). Jacobs Ladder had me creeped out for a few nights.

I've never, ever run into that problem. Foreign films sold in other countries are always subtitled one way or another. Perhaps we're just more accustomed to subs here in Europe than you guys..

I found a website that lets you download subs anyway http://www.opensubtitles.org/en
having watched both movies REC is clearly better where as quaratine seems more forced to be honest although i did crap bricks when that kid in the attic goes RAWR

Anyone know of anymore movies like REC, 28 days later, etc ?

watched that "the mad death" about a rabies outbreak in the uk which was pretty good

28 Weeks Later? Those are the only ones about an epidemic / outbreak that causes peeps to see red, as far as I know.

Yes, the first one is ok, but at the time I was already growing tired of the whole Asian horror wave, after watching every single one that came out in that period (they are all somewhat similar...). My favourites are Dark Water and A Tale of Two Sisters. And, I suppose it's hard not to mention the original Ringu.

The only American remake I've watched is The Ring, and that one was awful, awful, awful. Never again.
