I'm onboard with you guys I see the exact same thing in my games. I am now using the 191.56 driver and I see a little ghost issue only which is probably my lcd and not video card related.

As far as Fallout 3 I found this http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1360932. It fixed the stuttering issue that I had with the 191's.

In TF2 the 191's have caused a bad stutter as well. With the 191.56 driver I don't seem to have it at this point. TF2 is becoming the standard for me as far as watching for the stutter in games -- that and UT3 is a good barometer as well.

I hope this helps some of you guys -- especially the Fallout 3 folks!

thats frame skipping not stuttering. stuttering in this case means liek one guy described. you look at a building and the game pauses for a full second. its a very long pause.

Ah! Thanks for the clarification. So you guys are seeing like a 1 sec pause? Is it constant?

My issue isn't related to fallout 3 as mine is battlefield 2 and thats lag , texture. Just lumping all the 190/191's into one thread :nerd:

GTA4 stutters too, as soon as i press a key or start to move, its like the driver is bottlenecking direct input and making it lag.

It happens with 191.07 and 191.03, now im back on 186.18 whql all fine...
    This is in win7 32bit.

And in UT3 also with these 191.07 some odd pauses time to time - thats in win xp, and i saw the same pauses in NFS Shift in win7 too.

So im back to 186.18whql on both windows.

Is it happening for you guys online and offline?

For now my issue seems to have disappeared after I installed MS NIC drivers...

I did a couple of other things as well, like uninstalling Phsyx and the 3d drivers...

Those who got problems with the 19x drivers should be a bit more specific on which OS they use.
    Like version and bits.
There might be more issues with the 32 bit release of Windows 7 compared to the 64 bit release, since I just saw someone report in another thread, that he fixed his issues by installing the 64 bit edition.
Just pointing at this, since it could help to increase finding the source of the problem.

This might be intresting, I found that Fallout 3 (and maybe other games)
don't have any stutters with the newer 191.xx drivers on Windows XP x32.

But this might be common though, some games work better on XP, others work better on Vista or Windows 7. And I'm not talking about DX9 and DX10.

I didn't notice any difference between XP x32 or XP x64.
The most differences in performance in games, I noticed, are between XP and Vista/7.

Blame the GTA4 physics engine for that, you can minimise it by reducing max prerender to 1,

~thinks the new driver might be using additional buffering before output~

I'm amazed nobody has mentioned your PSU yet. Win Power PSU's are junk. They're famous for making OEM rubbish.
