Just a note I ran this benchmark mark with my Logitech G15 keyboard monitoring cpu usage and it never went over 14% max and 7% normal I reckon when games come they will have higher frame rates.

I mean how on earth did AMD run dirt 2 with DX11 tessellation enabled on 3 monitors with Eyefinity with one 5870 with that insane resolution and get a playable frame rate and run this benchmark gets by the dragon and goodbye frame rates but all benchmarks are mad for one thing make your PC cry.

5770 isn't a top of the line card. Those numbers are about right.

Hmm, i can't seem to run the benchmark in DX11 mode.

It loads up the benchmark then pretty much freezes and i haveto end the task.

The funny thing is, i formatted after doing it originally and it still does it on this new install, latest redist of DX too and Cat 9.10... strange!

i know it's not but i would have expected a bigger difference than 3.3fps @1024x768 than at 1680x1050

does this benchmark make use of all the cores ?

edit : no it only uses one cpu core according to task manager

Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion but dude..

DX10, and DX10.1 isn't that far from DX9. What DX10 does is put more layers, so to speak, onto the rendered picture it isn't magic.

Same thing with DX11 compared to DX10, more layers are added in the 'program' to make the rendered picture more realistic, like tesselation wich is probably the best example. To get the same effect with DX9 as with DX11 you would require isane amount of GPU power.

Just find it silly to say dx9 games looks just as good as dx10 or 11 ones ( will ) do when they clearly cannot, due to software and hardware limitations. Breaking my balls here, b r e a k i n g my ballz!

I'm acually using Windows 7, but i cant get the bloody thing to run in DX11 for some reason!

Also CPU and RAM not running to speed due to RMA'd water pump so im using a thermaltake M13 U.U
