8.660 (Catalyst 9.10) 18/09/09

    hello fellow gurus..

    i have installed this driver 9.10. and i am using sony bravia TV.

    whenever i play game in DIRECTX10 or 10.1 the TV changes the signal from 1080p to 1080i !?

    strange isnt it?


    in Stalker COS, if i switch the game mode to directx 10 the signal changes to 1080 i

    but

    when switch to Directx 9 the tv gives me 1080 p .

    same happens to crysis warhead.
    Directx 10 = 1080 i
    directx 9 = 1080p

    mmm? is it DPI scaling in CATALYST? or is it maintain aspect ratio option in the catalyst.
    but believe me i tried switching on and off these options...

    so what shall i do? did it happen to anyone...

    before 9.10 i used 9.8 and it was fine...

    what do u think?

    Try that.

    The settings should have carried over from the 9.8, unless you use driver cleaners, which are pointless and cause more harm then good.

    Hi guys, Just wanted to let you know I have uploaded the first version on the Enzyme - beta drivers. They can be found http://www.cell-systems.net/enzyme-preview/ there for now only Guru3D has been updated with this link. They are based on the 8.660 - 18/09/09 driver.

    Oh my god the size is insanely huge 180mb? hahaha I wonder why they're so big compared to WHQL release.

    Has anyone had lock up's this as reported with 9.9 drivers?


    Edit:I noticed the Install manager is just like the Vista/Win 7 manager for XP.
