tested with champions online. first off had issues..but then did a fresh os install and used latest drivers (one without msi logo). had some driver not responding but since installing sp2 am overclocking and game is running sikly smooth.

over 100fps in most areas and looking good. impressed...i'd say a good 20fps increase over my 285 ocx.

I play Age of Conan maxed out at 1920x1080 in DX10.

My 4870X2 + 4870 CF rig couldn't handle that at all since MGPU support in that game is horrible, now it's silky smooth and looks fantastic.

Would you be so nice and upload some screenshots? :)
What is the lowest framerate you get in Tarantia?

In tarantia of course it's abit choppy when riding full speed into a crowded area, but Old Tarantia is laggy due to server issues and badly optimized textures (buildings)

Hmm I play on Hyrkania, and server seems to run pretty smooth there, lowest for me is 30fps with a bit of brute IQ forcing.
Found some old screenshots, some time since I took those.
I will most likely get lower fps with my new monitor thou.

Still would love to see how the 5870 renders it at max.
Seems that this single GPU card runs it as smooth as my SLI setup, so if the IQ is as good or better that's an extra bonus.

hehehe yes, when standing still all is good.
try riding full speed with a mount in to the t.raders in OT and youll see some drops.

If i play late at night OT is smooth, but during days in Crom (Very Populated Server) the servers is so loaded that it gets choppy. And that's a server issue and not gpu related at all.

    *edit*
Correct me if i'm wrong, but those screen shots is dx9.

I actually still have this game, but I quit after a month or two when they still hadn't fixed a lot of issues with this game. Heard it's better since content patch 1, but I'm a heavy PvPer in WoW now, so I can't really be bothered to get back into it.

So, what levels and classes are you guys anyway?
I think I left it while being a 47 Tempest of Set

Did they add new zones and quests? There was a heavy lack of that when I still played

30fps as the lowest while moving.

Thought that I uploaded the DX10 screen shots, made some new ones today.
Ambient Oclusion Screenspacing and Godrays I disabled though, looks like crap on my cards.

Could you be so nice to take some too so I can compare?

    @Peezee

    PvP in WoW....
I had enough when they made the FM easy, 1 week after TBC pre-patch some nubs where in full set -.-
And Arena I don't like, its more a flavour of the month than even balance game.
Guild Wars is much better at balance.
And for massive PvP I find Warhammer more fun.

My highest in AoC is my Priest of Mitra, level 70.
I didn't play for a while since some irl friends took a break from the game.

There is a new exspansion comming for AoC, should be released very soon.
Just check out the official site for info.

Really now, MMO's are mostly CPU limited, and considering how activity changes, its quite hard to get accurate tests using MMO's.

    DX10 MMO's use a bit more.
But I'm more interested in the new ATI cards rendering IQ anyway.

EDIT: Plus one of the reviews showed that even with one of the much CPU dependant MMO's, the 5xxx kicked ass to everything else.
