yeah.... those are rather impressive temps. not sure if it's your case or the fact that you have liquid on your CPU, but i don't think either of those would account for the fact that right now my original GTX 295+ is idling at nearly your load temps.

Half tempted to try to RMA my GTX 295 and see if i get a GTX 295 Co-Op.....

Hi Mike yeh the pump is really great good flow, i cant really afford another waterblock so im going to just aircool 2 280s might strap a 120mm fan at the front or side of them

i think the waterblock is causing the 280 to short this is why it goes orange light (i used 1 mm pads so im also thinking its not squishing on the ram enough they are just flat non squidgey thermal pads lol)

MSDN is a lovely thing. Thank you Univeristy for supplying me with W7, Vista 64 (3 Serials for it too) XP 64, Xp 32....i think you get the idea . Still sweet ass rig's here. Im still tempted to pull mine apart and get some cable managment sorted using a dremel.

Finally!!! After a hell of a lot of dust and bending and cursing I managed to properly route the power cable to the annoyingly middle-placed connector on my crappy mobo!!! The joys of cable management!!!

I also reoriented the OCZ heatsink (was facing upwards), re-applied the paste, and after taking the pictures removed one of the UV cathodes (they´re not really showing since it's a closed case, and added more clutter). Looks way better now, don´t ya think?

 

as much as i hate to say it.... i don't really recommend that 24-pin power cable running under the edge of the video card. Granted, that end is screwed down... but it can't be healthy for the card, or the cable.

 

True but

OMFG what where Asustek thinking when they placed the 24pin there in the first place.

 

I think i once owned that mobo well an asrock one ages ago and it was by far the worst mobo ive ever used
