less the java corruption in both IE and FF browser's are fixed I have no reason to go back to 19x.xx series, and seeing i dont have time to test the drivers to see if it is fix or not I will stay with the 185.xx drivers till i have reason to go to 19x.xx drivers

there have been at lest 3 or 4 people on this forum that complained about it, and it is the drivers causing it cause soon as I went back to 185.xx drivers the corruption was gone, it limited amount computer effected with it

Yes, and no, its normal, as these were on the last lot of these "dev" drivers, but don't know if this feature will make it onto WHQL's

You can turn it off if you want by going into NVCP and clicking on, then 3D Settings menu bar, and unticking the Show PhysX Visual Indicators.

those with control panel issues, do a clean driver install, and try running the control panel with run as admin.

    I tried that

Still froze up for 30 - 120 seconds at times, and going into resolution to make sure it was set to 60hz would lock it up completely

Not to mention more then half my games would run, and ones that did run were missing textures/polygons all over the place

These are so far the worst 190 drivers I have used, every other version before this at least WORKED in both control panel and games

My CP locks up using these too, (although games run fine n dandy with em) theyre the only driver I have had issues with, uninstalled and installed the .62's and all is fine..these are probably a tad better than the 182.50's.

Did that, but doesn't change anything.
I wonder if people are downloading exact the same driver set, as there are a lot of different links in this thread.

I should have known better than to expect the clocking issue to be resolved, but I got excited when i read the success stories. Not only is my one GTX260 still stuck at 3D clocks 24/7 but the terrible HDMI audio enabled/disabled mess has returned. Every reboot leads to a new experience with my dual-monitor setup, with such memorable struggles as "Which display will be primary this time? How much of my LG display will be visible thanks to audio enabled HDMI output? Which resolution/refresh rate will it choose for me this time? How many times will i have to change the audio enabled/disabled tab and hit apply before it displays correctly? Why am I even dealing with these issues when it is impossible to put audio over a DVI connector?!" Only nVidia has the answers, and they certainly aren't telling. Back to 190.62, the only driver I am able to make work well after a good bit of tweaking.

after 2days... wents back from these to 186.91
    my 9600M GT wasn't able to start MonkeyIsland Episode2 & Mini Ninja's
also HEROES OVER EUROPE had many freeze/lockup/blackouts...

now it's all back to normal, thus a pitty because performance/iq was great!

owell untill next time ;) have fun

(PS: 20-25 other games ran flawlessly)

I tried these and got no issues. However I noticed that with 186.91 my games run smoother. Framerates are the same with these two drivers. Does anybody else notice that or I am just imagining things? I play two games right now BIOSHOCK and COD4 MP.
