Best thing you can do is keep upgrading frequently & faithfully 24/7 soon as anything new comes out even tho you know you dont need it cept for a slightly faster benchmark cause a big Ol asteroid is goona eventually get us, its not how but when.....................
Oh yea, everything starts out as free then.......................capitalism & greed get involved. I remember when TV was free and it didnt even have commercials, no..... im serious, no commercials! Yes, today you pay & you do get hundreds of channels prob is...........99 out of a hundred are informercals & they SUCK! There are maybe 20 decent channels on cable now & no im not including the golf ch sorry. Hahaha..Thats saved for insomnia bouts late at night. The end of the World is when we cant afford to pay $1,000 a month for entertainment.......................I remember says once Ill never pay for TV well here I am paying a hundred a month for mostly useless channels & endless commercials ..sigh..........tis a sad situation. They even attempt to make me pay to surf im dropping internet serv. stat. I lived just fine without it before I can again, they already get more then they deserve already from the commercials & adds.

I feel just about the same way. There is a certain impending doom feeling I get sometimes, but it's usually from trying to examine humanity and how it's changed, from a 3rd person perspective. It's like, man, look at how fk'd up things are becoming, and it seems to be speeding up. Then at the same time we've got all the weird weather, AND sickness - despite our advances in medicine, we're sicker than we ever have been.

I was listening to my dad go on the other day (he's ex-military, Vietnam era, believes in the draft 100% for everyone). He was saying, the only thing he could think of to put us (not necissarily just America) back on track would be a really bad war. The kind of war that even needed folks his age to work.

In my mind I was thinking, that or a rash of really bad disease/famine, or really bad weather like we've never seen.

So, I think a lot of people have the same feeling... just some haven't put their finger on what it is yet. I don't really know crap about politics and worldly affairs to be able (or care) do debate this stuff, but the feeling is there strong.

True though, the only thing we can be certain of that will end in 2012, is 2011 :D

  6. You are all so nieve. Do you think that our constant march on the planet has gone un-noticed? that our plundering and attrition against our fellow man has gone un-checked. Wake up! It may not be 2012 it may be earlier. Pay attention to your leaders, listen to there plans and do research, as a fellow member has stated.

" No-one knows the time or date, only the father ". Its written down as a future event so how can this nostrodamius possible know? The end of days is something I am scared of yet eargerly awaiting, however the time before the end of days is a terrifying prospect when all the nations will know that they are accountable for all they've done.

One final addition. Dont think that everyday life can just continue. that you'll get up and go to work for anohter 20yrs, that the sun will always rise to a new day, that nothing is going to change. If September 11 is anything to look at, its a record in history that the world can change in the blink of an eye.

lol you call people naive for not believing what some guy wrote in the 15th century ?

  8. If you read it says no-one except the father knows. so nostrodamius is misleading the nations with his writings.

Predicting the future is only possible for those people who are bold enough to for example walk into the house which they saw in their dream that it was gonna explode, and they foresaw their death and they still do it.

Why? Because predicting the future is a paradoxon. You predict that you die in a car accident... and you stay at home. You predict that you stay at home and your house crashes, killing you... and you flee in a car. Whatever the prediction is, you do whatever you can to make sure that it WON'T happen.

So what happens, if the prediction can never fulfill itself? You can't predict the future. The physical laws prevent, that a paradoxon can happen, by simply removing the ability to predict the future from some humans. Now let's take a look at Nostradamus.

Nostradamus is said to have been able to predict the future, but his book is full of riddles and unsolvable to everyone. You, the readers try to make sense of what he has written, but you are not sure. Most of the time you find the meaning in Nostradamus' words, after certain events take place and it all makes sense, yet you are unable to decrypt any predictions he made for the future. There is a very logical reason behind this: Nostradamus wrote his verses in riddles, and looked into the future and saw that some clever guy could make sense of it. So then he simply made the riddle even more difficult. Looked again into the future. Rinse and repeat, until nobody can decypher his verses anymore. Yet they are still not unsolvable, at least you can understand the meaning AFTERWARDS.

What do we learn from all this?
Nostradamus died after a long peaceful life in his sleep. If he foresaw that he was to be killed in a fire for example, he would have tried to not go near the fire in the first place. But then the future would not have come to happen, thus he couldn't have predicted the future.
Only when those predictions are the unsolvable riddle, the future events can still take place.

Test yourself against this challenge: If you foresaw the next weeks lottery numbers, would you still be tough enough to NOT bet on them?
No? And that's why you are unable to see the future!

    Just kidding you all !!!!!!!!!!

well there are unexplainable things in life. im not saying predicting the future can be true, but neither i am denying it.
just look at those people with 6th senses. (who are used for police work)
there is more to this world then simple logic, and some things just cant be explained.

This is how the bible got started idiots like that fat American tawt talking etihs, everything is a conspiracy in America.

  14. A prediction does not tell the future..prediction is only possibility. And who ever commented about america being obsessed with conspiricy's and false teaching then your right, just need to watch FOX news. If that wont get you hysterical and worried...man! nothing will.

That FOX news is such a damaging news program, it is so sensationalized and over dramatized...no wonder th yanks live in fear of domestic threats and international one!

I have made similar observations. Religious belief is pretty much certain and then there are tons, tons of conspiracies.

    Its certainly entertaining to observe.

    "sensationalized and over dramatized"
This is not just true for Fox news. Aren't they the biggest cable news channel in USA? So many ape after... turning this newsbusiness into some sort of infotainment. And from what I've seen it has become worse.

I prefer PBS and British news, where even when two or more persons disagree it doesn't turn into a 5 minute pie throwing contest. Instead it becomes a more adult discussion.

The internet came to its end when:

    - People started abbreviating short words on discussion boards: You = U, Are = R, For = 4, Too = 2... Not to mention words like "Please" getting twisted into "plx". The list goes on and on and it takes the piss. That sh!t may fly on txt messages but please stop polluting the boards i read you halfwits!

    - Lolcatz etc. started to be "funny": "I can haz cheezeburger" tagged under a picture of a cute furry cat makes no sense. Back to school you! "Can i have a cheeseburger please ?" is the proper form of the sentence.

    - Certain goverments began controlling peoples access to the web and what they can put up there ( you know who you are !? )

    - People started tossing around lawsuits if they got insulted: If you cant stand the heat, stay out of the bloody kitchen!

    - People started logging into Facebook only to play pointless games: Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, Yoville, Farmville and so on and so forth... how about using the social network for actual socialising and get some real games to play ie. World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2, Fallout 3, Oblivion, anything!. Oh yea and while we're at it... STOP SPAMMING MY DAMN NEWSFEED WITH UTTERLY POINTLESS MESSAGES ABOUT YOU HITTING LEVEL 58 IN AFORE MENTIONED GAMES. I...DO NOT... CARE!

Just a few examples. Apologies for any typos, english isnt my native language.

    R.I.P The Internet

PS. Dont even get me started about the world :p
