UK users... is there anything more annoying than that frickin 'we buy any car' advert? I thought nothing would ever top the original Cillit Bang ad for making me want to cut off my ears and eat them, but I was wrong. commercial!
commercials can be quite annoying. its funny that the public channels over here almost have commercials at the same time. good thing i got a few hundred channels. yes there is. we got porn commercials at night on about 6 channels. they are the most annoying ones.
Also hate the XXX-line ads with the amplified sound effects! I didn't mind the kids staying up late, but now you gotta send them to bed before 9PM. It can be unbearable to channel-surf to save the little ones. :bang:
No you wouldn't, an incredibly ugly whore with too much make-up pretending to be horny is a real turn-off...... especially when there are lots of annoying jingles involved :S

the only channel that has commercials that i watch is Chiller . the rest are either the music only stations on the digital or movie channels like showtime beyond if something cool i havn't seen is on.
Yup, those stupid text commercial things. They don't usually make sense either. One of the current 1's has all the women in it bouncing on those exercise ball things. It makes no sense!
I don't know about the radio in your area, but radio here has much, much more commercials. They can literally plan 10 minutes of nonstop commercials, all stations at the same time. They then play 2 or 3 songs and back to commercials.
Well They only thing a can stand on TV its : 1) The Simpsons -> full of commercials, but since I am sick with it; if I hook into I can't quit. 2) Soccer that's it. I don 't watch TV at all; just like everybody else; I got my broadband connection and my Multimedia HDD. Here, it's incredible. The movies on TV take up to 2 and 2 1/2 hours, due to commercials. If the movie it's like new, you get 15min in a row of comercials (wtf??) Moreover, the volume RAISES when commertials are on; this happens in all channels. They like raise the volume on commercials; that's so annoying and sick. BTW, I do like radio in Spain, it's really GOOD. We have a 24h soccer radio station, that's just amazing!!!!! I usually watch the soccer matches on TV with the volume off and the radio on, it's much more fun.
Exaggerating a little, maybe? In my 24 years of life I've never heard a radio station that plays 10 minutes of straight commercials, and I live in Canada too. But in any case, try live365.com (it's got a lot free stations run by people, so you can find anything, with very little commericals for free, and none for paying members), satelite radio is very cheap too, and even my digital tv has many music station channels (no picture just music) that's all comerical free too, so um, to me this business of not being able to get music without dump load of commericals in todays digital age seems odd.
Not exaggerating one bit, it's been crazy lately. There were times where I got into my car, went to a store or something about 10 minutes away, and a station played just commercials the whole trip. Apart from downloading music, the only way for me to listen to music in the car is normal radio, I'm too cheap for satellite radio.
I remember being in the car once and the radio station (can't remember which) claimed to play non stop music. That was just after 5 minutes of adverts...
