Are you blind?

All of these hero's are direct ports, just with a few balances and minor tweaks. Their are ofcourse a lot of new heroe's, which if you look at them closely, are just hybrids or two hero's merged into one.

 

Should be out tonight - the ATB and PSR look awesome for public games. Should make it much easier to get into the game if you haven't played dota before.

can anyone tell me if after the beta the game will still be free or will it cost 30$ ... because if they are charging 30$ for a game which people have been playing for "free" for ages than i don't see many people on board ...

well 30 USD for pre booking .. dont think this game will be free ... pple might skip it in that case coz they dont want a paid alternative for something free ... though i must admit this game is indeed a step up from the regular DoTA ...

Yeah I'm planning on buying it, it's worth $30 to me easy, I'll get more play time out of it than any $50 game I can think of. DotA is great but the warcraft 3 engine is definitely limited

 

No i played heroes of newerth and being a huge DotA player I'll tell you that the other game that's being created by icefrog's team (League of Legends - LoL for short) is looking much better, much more dynamic then the extremly generic HoN

 

Whoa I hadn't even heard of it, how many of these are there going to be? First demigod, then HoN, now this? Though I did just go look up some videos on it, it looks pretty cool

 

Well it's actually from the creators of dota (icefrog's team) so ... flawless victory pretty much XD

I have played HoN for the last couple of months and i love this game. It still needs more heroes, the path finding should be tweaked a little bit but even in this condition this game is very playable. I even pre-purchased the game ( taunt ftw! )

And about LoL - i don't like that game very much - the graphics are too cartoonish for my taste and i don't like the gameplay. Maybe it is because I played dota for 2.5 - 3 years before so i am used to the gameplay style of that game. Thats why i like HoN ( dota clone ) more than LoL ( new gameplay style ).
