It just crossed my mind last night. I realized that porn is nothing but legally filmed prostitution. Kind of messed up. I just don't see how prostitution is illegal, yet porn is legal. They are both technically the same thing. The woman gets paid to perform sexual services. The only difference is, it's on film.
Also, there are exactly the same risks involved in porn as there are in prostitution. Aren't the risks why prostitution is illegal?
o0 lol It's more complicated as that I'm affraid.. For example, ask yourself why is prostitution (on the street) banned? Aids, Gonorrhea, Sifilis, etc... Prostitutes in brothels (cathouse, whorehouse as you wish) aren't banned thou.. why? 1. they're tested, 2. the goverment gets taxes of their incomes apperantly.. Same goes for the porno industry.. It's HUGE, actors are also tested, and which goverment said no for free income eh?
Lol, there aren't any risks with porn. Every actor/actress is screened for STD's. It's a very tightly controlled, hence why it's in a different league than actual prostitution. The government taxes the industry. Plus, both the men and the women get paid. Prostitution is uncontrollable, and leads to the rampant spread of STD's, hence why it is illegal.
I'm not talking about watching it. I'm talking about making it. Porn is a multi-billion dollar industry.
There are so many amateur porn videos. Some guy in his apartment having girls come over for "shoots", not wearing condoms. I've seen so many videos like that, and I highly doubt they spend the money on "screening". yes the guy gets paid, but only from selling the videos. I could easily do that with any prostitute.
I`ll understand never the complex about sex in some countries. Is just pathetic how someones deny the human nature.
I'm talking about professional sites, AKA what people actually watch. Just like you can't stop all prostitution, you can't regulate everything that people do.
easier said than done, ive been searching for someone/anyone for over 5 years , without porn and brothels id have gone crazy or killed myself long ago. so i can see why its a multibillion dolar industry cause hot girls dont put out.
Porn is great. Brothels are great. I've been in a brothel once in my life... I just sat there on the bed PISSED OUT OF MY SKULL eating the bowl of mints while all these hookers came in one after the other introducing themselves wearing next-to nothing... Then 2 of my mates payed them for their services while I sat outside on a bench with my newly aquired bowl of mints which I stole If you ever need free mints, go in a brothel :thumbup:
this thread made me lol, but like some people have said porn actors/ress's are screened for STD's. also about the amateur videos, good modeling agency's only hire their girls out to trustworthy and known sites. other agency's who are pretty bad usually get ugly girls and such and don't really care about stuff like that wich is very wrong. but no, porn isn't like prostitution, not at all.
