^you using FOSE? Anyway, have yet to get 1.7, Zeta is almost here! also made a random video in Point Lookout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2njYSY7mQA Bruiser Brothers and the Bridge o Boom
Some LIVE regions can now access the Mothership Zeta DLC. Oh and FOSE has been updated and now supports patch 1.7. http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1023422 http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1023433 EDIT: Downloaded, 527 MB when unpacked. EDIT: BSA unpacked, five "sets" of armor, elevel weapons, and a whole lot of misc items and other general models, textures and so on. (Five creature models but as with the above this is from model and texture names and folders, in the game there's a bit more variation.) EDIT: Working on the weapon textures, see this mod for details on why that's useful. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4457 EDIT: Finished. http://www.sendspace.com/file/didi8m
More or less, some break Broken Steel by altering NPC's that BS also alteres but other than that most conflicts have been rather minor.
Wait a second... are you... are you Quarn?! And are you the same JonasBeckman from the defunct TweakGuides.com's forums as well?! I knew you contributed a lot to that forum with news and very helpful information, but that you'd be none other than Quarn? You've got one heck of a passion for patching Bethesda's games don't you hehe!, man, your work on Oblivion's Unofficial Patch was/still is just spectacular, same for Fallout 3's, is version 1.2.0 coming out well? Anyway man, it's good to see you here I never noticed you on these forums until now.
Oh no I'm not "Quarn" sorry for the misunderstanding, but I use some of the mods he and his team (Or group) has produced for Oblivion and Fallout 3 and I learned how to mod the weapons in a similar way rather early once BSA unpacking was possible for Fallout 3 albeit my skills with NifSkope are pretty weak so adjusting the actual models aren't something I'd want to try so it's just a simple texture replacer, works well enough until the mod I linked to is updated for this dlc. EDIT: So that's where they ended up. ]
It's a bit more than that, you'll see if you explore the ship a bit. (Trying to avoid any potential spoilers, good DLC albeit a bit linear.)
i was not playing Fo3 for a time. i just started it but LIVE doesnt start..i press home nothing happens..and i lcick on LIVE in the menu and nothing happens..any idea?
Check that no LIVE disabler is active (Such as a fake Xlive.dll file in the game folder or using the Fallout Script Extender.) also check so that you have the latest version of LIVE installed. (2. something, updated version of basic version 2 but still not that recent so you probably have it.) and see so that you have the latest patch for the game. (Not required as such but the support files for Fallout3.exe needs to exist, Fallout.exe.cat and that other one, used by LIVE to verify that the EXE is proper, LIVE can also be disabled in some games by renaming the .cat file but others will just crash as they are too dependant on LIVE for the framework to be entirely disabled.)
Played through Point Lookout today, best DLC so far in my opinion. Looking forward to see how Broken Steel is. Started a new character since I had a brake from Fallout 3 since The Pitt release.
Thank u, i just tested Dawn of War 2 and LIVE is working just fine..very odd. better make a VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE on steam for the game :S EDIT: ahh yeah. Steam updates files..but wtf and why the fck steam didnt it automaticly when i started it several times..anyway. EDIT 2: okay game works now. thanx to STEAM!
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...FamilyID=69b2c4db-0****4980-9c1b-8f781ad50bd0 Microsoft has released version 3 of "LIVE", unsure what's changed but it looks a bit different now.
That autocensor filter changed it to -0****4 instead of what it should have been, try this instead and sort them by date. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/resultsForCategory.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=1
whats a better DLC Broken Steel or Point Lookout?dont care about the level 30 unlock i got the level 40 mod
Broken Steel allows you to properly reach level 30 (With mods, going above 20 with negative karma can crash the game, unsure if it's been fixed by the community though.) plus it alters the ending and allows you to keep playing and adds some new foes and weapons for higher level characters. (Unless you play on hard or higher at which point they'll start appearing for lower level characters as well.) Outside of that Point Lookout is in my opinion a better choice in terms of content, more open and a lot to explore albeit they're pretty close, on console I'd definitively recommend Broken Steel first for the added content and playability but for a PC with access to community made mods this is a bit harder.
