they all have advantages/disadvantages. been looking forwared to this game for a while now. I remember playing the first one for the ...well the first 3d one, for the Atari jaguar. sweet memories
Looks awesome! I always felt like the first 2 were a little half-a$$ed in the graphics department. This one looks much better. I'm sure the gameplay will be top notch too.
for me its the other way around, i feel that avp1 and 2 where pretty nice in the gfx department when they came out, but the new one looks a bit soddy. Might be because its not done yet tho hehe. But, it looks great anyway because of the gameplay, and if its anything like its predecessors, it will kick ass. Love the tree jumping and spine ripping for the predator.
Preds and Aliens are for noobs who just want a gorefeast and simple gameplay. Preds will have the autocannon and aliens will just have to claw their way trough anything... Marines are for gamers who actually have a brain and have to use strategy and teamwork in order to survive
Dunno how this game will treat the aliens, but in AvP1 the alien campaign was really hard. Can't say how many times i've got owned by those autocannons in midair!
Isn't Colonial Marines a console port though??? IMO i'd rather have a game built ground up for the PC, then ported to console later...
I'm not sure... I know it's being done by Gearbox who, I don't think, really makes console games. I think doing the console thing is new for them. I would assume they would port the game to consoles from PC.
Looks awesome. Marines is defently going to be the hardest to play. I love that part where the predator came up and surprise slice your dead. Gotta say the graphics are top notch compared to other AvP's.
