I used to be there. got fed up with the newb's who constantly posted like they were getting support from nvidia.

Win 7 RTM has just gone... i think its 6.1.7600.17000

I'm starting to get worried that they're not going to fix the SLI flickering. It's been broken since the mid 185.xx's.

From all "gamers" you are probably the LEAST real "gamer", saying such nonsense.

    a) If you have a PC which is so crappy that you cant have anything "in the background"...then its maybe time to get a new one.

    b) A "real gamer" (like me <-- ;) can have WoW constantly in the background. As for myself, it can happen i play, sometimes i work "in the background" or check my mails or i IM someone. There is very much a reason for a working alt-tab. And every recent program/game does actually NOT use up many resources if alt-tabbed out..and WoW for sure doesn't as compared to high-end games with high-end graphics engines...and even w/ THOSE its no big deal to alt-tab out for a break.

Last time i checked Vista/W7 was STILL a multi-tasking OS...

    Kids today

Instead of bitching about low framerates or flickering, they bitch that they can't switch back and forth between programs rapidly

Alt-tab can be very important in MMOs. I ran Everquest 1 and 2 when I played them and always played windowed so I could look up guides, item stats or maps online without exiting the game. When I was hardcore playing, I actually ran 2 copies of either game and "2-boxed" on my rig, and was still able to keep my email client, and browser windows and an IM client up and running. Never had any issues, you just need the CPU and GPU power, and especially enough RAM that it's not doing any swapping.

Alt-tabbing works fine for me in Call of Juarez: BiB. It takes a few seconds to bring it back up but surpringly it works with no stuttering or loss in framerate.

Although I keep accidentally alt-tabbing because I have my "sprint" key set to Right Alt because for some reason the game won't let me use my "\" key!!! (Im a lefty)

In Windows 7 RC, these made Cod WaW freeze up. Then went back to 186.18 and never happened again.

Fantastic performance in Call of Juarez: Bound in blood. No issues at all.
PERFECTION... as far as this game is concerned.:nerd:
Running smoothly on 1280x720 with all on HIGH except shadows. Slowdowns are minimum, and even then game is fully playable. Excellent.:)
