Ok before i go insane somebody help me pls,

i was not playin this for weeks and wanted to start a new campaign. But as i see i cant get ULTRA SETTINGS, which i was HAVING with my old 4870..but today i cant set my options to ULTRA..now WHAT THE HECK? My PC is more powerful and game gives me lower settings, i mean HIGH, not ULTRA. Anyway, My oS is 64 bit so i read that this is a problem in 32 bit OSs.on the other hand i tried that command line which is -disable32bitcheck but it doesnt work either..any help I BEG OF U!

and as u remmeber in previous pages

i was able to use ULTRA settings..so what now?

THIS IS A SCREEN FROM MY OLD ATI 4870(or what was its name lol)

 

Try adding the commandline parameter "-disable32bitcheck" even if it's not required it should still allow you to select Ultra quality.

Perhaps also try deleting the old configuration files incase there's some conflict preventing you to choose that setting by default.

 

I did the everything u said..but not working..WHAT KIND OF SHT IS THIS! İAM SO DESPERATE! :..(

p.s: I deleted the files in my document folder, My games. Dawn of war 2 u know...there r files into Main game folder too? help pls :.(

 

Can you re-adjust the settings and then open the config file afterwards to put the various settings up to ultra then?

Strange that it wouldn't be possible as the requirements from what I know is 64-bit with atleast 512MB video memory and you have that.
(Or atleast you should have from what I've read in your hardare field and initial post.)

 

Ultra isn't THAT much better. The best advice anyone can give is re-install the game and if that don't work, try new graphics drivers.

i have the latest Official Drivers

ULTRA settings r GREY so i cant choose them...i VALIDATED GAME CACHE into steam....but maybe a reinstall will fix..or registry of the game is fcked

ok i solved my problem..but the biggest problem still exists.. i cant find people to play this as COOP..nobody interest?

 

What do you mean by co-op? As, someone to party with?

 

singleplayer campaign has online coop (yes party with, u contrl 2 squad, i control 2 squad) mode..i really love the game.. and played a few timess with people as coop...damn fun. do u have game?

I've playing singleplayer on Primarch. On the final mission, although I'm doing all the side and optional missions for better gear. I killed the Warboss but damn, the Avatar is going to be a grind-feat. 328k odd health or something. I got him down to 150k once but eventually got bored because he spawned several Seer Councils that'd nearly 1-hit anyone that got close.

i tried to play in HARD difficulty once and even a second mission is dman hard..infact wth coop it may be awesome but really controlling 4 squads same at the time alone is hard.

Well having came from multi-player, I can can easily control the 4 squads in single-player.
