stupid game.. "heartbeat sensor".. wtf .. a gimmick to give these ppl RADAR still no MP7 or M109 AMPR or MG36 taking out the M14/M40 is a disappointment and the G3 is still probably a Semi-Auto..
Ahhh, the .50 cal. I have mixed feelings about it's return. It is my weapon of choice on almost every map but I hope that they make some design changes to it. In it's current form I have to admit that it is completely overpowered and gives an unfair advantage to the few who have taken the time to master it. Being able to jump and fire a shot in mid-air with 100% accuracy is just one of the many things that the .50 Cal can do with a little practice. It's also ridiculously accurate, even after firing 5 or 6 rounds one right after the other, and it is far to forgiving when it comes to scope movement when firing.
Funny thing is that I usually enjoy sniping from time to time in tactical FPS games, but CoD is such an incredibly good feeling engine, (as far as movement) that I find the run and gun with an SMG game to be amazingly awesome. Definitely looking forward to it, even though they took my running gun out
SCAR-H and MG36 just got confirmed. This thread is about weapons which have been CONFIRMED... l2read. A lot of weapons will still be in the game which haven't been shown yet. and the heartbeat sensor is for single player... on a level where its two guys versus an entire base of enemies... its not so OP.
g3 semi auto? the g3 ingame had a 30round clip...... i have never seen a g3 with a 3round clip in my entire time in the army and now im reaching my sixt year. maybe they should look into the guns they use first before releasing them i wouldnt mind playing the game with only 10weapons avaible but at leat realisticly made.
A .50 Cal. weapon is overpowered in real life. Besides the the movement things you say, like jumping and low scope movement, everything else is realistic. In real life, you don't even have to hit the target to tear them apart.
AK-74 seems a notable omission, due to the lack of heavy caliber SMG's overall. That being said, anyone who uses a SMG should be using the P-90 anyway.
this Unless you're playing on a battlefield server and you're part of a team and playing very tactical, I can't understand why you would ever want to sit in a bloody corner and snipe off guys. This is the problem I have always had with COD4.. half of the players in a match are sniping! Gimme a break. As mentioned, with the amount of cool weapons and interesting maps and such a great all around engine, to sit and snipe every map all day long is the epitome of FAIL
eh.. 3 clip round.. u be trippin lol irl the 3G can be a full auto too.. rather have it that way.. even though the recoil is ungodly lol and according to Wiki.. its a 20 round clip standard.. reason i dont really like COD
