Yep, no ingame vsync option. And forcing it through the driver doesn't work. Which kinda screws over everybody with crossfire or sli, or if you just don't want tearing.
There is a fix though. Which is in my ORIGINAL Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood thread :)

@nzweers - And I thank you for that fix as I cannot play games with screen tearing.

You might want to repost what you wrote in this thread though before it disappears for good. I'm sure plenty of people will find it useful.

Anwyay, i may buy this game for its MULTIPLAYER, if its interesting..i need a multiplayer game these days. when dedicated servers or what ever, available to game online, i really will be appreciate to hear about multiplayer pat of the game.

on the other hand in a review (i forgot where) it says big levels...is that true? this is not a sandbox game right? u dont ride horse etc.

i've preordered it along with Street Fighter IV and according to the site i shall receive it COJ tomorrow or after at most. :eyebrows:

COJ was one of the best games i played that year, it's ok if COJ2 won't repeat the same success of the original but the game looks incredibly fun nonetheless.

also the performance seem impressive, after various crappy UBISOFT games they're releasing a good one... or at least i hope so :D

the game features a benchmark option or do i have to use Fraps when i get it?

any word on the multiplayer? I heard in a review that its only 12 players (consoles maybe). I might get this too...have to find out a little more about it.

    Edit: Just found this.

It looks kind fun...but 12 player max...stupid consoles.

You will have to use fraps, but dont wory, always>60FPS for you all time with that rig.
I have a c2d 3.33 and a HD4870 and the fps never get bellow 60 at max settings.

Sorry for being considerate and taking time to make some screenshots and getting the technical specs. I assumed when I read your thread it would have this, and then maybe the fix could be listed after.

I guess I'm just an ass and shouldn't waste my time again.

I will say after playing the game for a number of hours it is a huge improvement over the original gameplay-wise. The gun shootouts are very fun and difficult -- the funny thing is by the time I draw my gun and am dashing to aim at the guy the first thing that always comes in my crosshairs is: their nuts.

So I have officially gunned down three guys in a duel by shooting them in the nads. :biggun:

The lasso mechanic requires a flicking of the mouse in a circular fashion, there are a few of these mechanics and believe it or not they work great and I find them enhancing to the gameplay.

They seem to have gun stores placed everywhere with side missions that can be taken from posters... This is a welcome distraction and getting the extra cash lets you buy some much nicer firearms to take into battle.
