so with the OSes downloaded, are they just for a clean install (write to a boot disc) or can I just extract the file and install (upgrade) from windows vista, if the latter is possible, would I need to backup the data on the HDD?
hmmm SP2 refuses to install on my PC, as a result the version of ultimate with SP2 won't install via upgrade, think I'm just goin to back my data up and do a clean install

ffs computer was running fine, then installed ultimate sp2, installed catalst 9.6 then rebooted, all of a sudden it won't load back into windows (BSODs) and checked bios, CPU is running at like 56C idle instead of the usual 38C, wtf happened, can it really be related to my vista install? Doubt it dunno wat the hell jus happened
lol I know they can't be related but wtf lol, the computer will boot in safe mode but BSOD when trying to get into Vista with drivers
Frankly I read this thread and was kind of disgusted. It was akin to a store owner leaving their door unlocked and a mob deciding if the owner was dumb enough to make the mistake, we have the right to rip off all his goods... Wow.
It's only natural for the as you call them 'dicks'. Me personally, I'd lock his door for him. I guess I was raised different from the 'dicks' of the world.
