Steam weekend deal: Empire: Total War 50% Off - $24.99

I have problems buying this game with my ClickandBuy account.
This comes up when i try buying the damn game!!

Problem my ass! I've bought Swords of the Stars a few minutes ago without problems and i have more than enough money on my C&B account.

I've deposited 50 euro's and Swords of the Stars and Total War combined are 45 euro's.
I guess this "problem" is "resolved" when the game is at its full price again.

put more money in it, as far as i know, when trying to buy a game on a deal on click and buy or paypal, steam checks to see if the FULL price of the game is in that account, even if it's on a deal, so putting more money into it would fix the problem

 

The game isn't that bad but it had a bit of botched launch due to some bugs and issues, patches are being worked on though, infact the next patch is due later today.

Actually having said that its probably like 12GB or something so I'd prob rather have the Dvds.

@AlxFitz: yes, the download was exactly 12GB. And the patch released today added another 300MB

Too bad I haven't found the time to play it yet

yeah...patch released with a DLC update available now for like 3 dollars, wonder if that was planned...

You'd think though that you would get more people jumping on the deal if they knew they could also get a DLC update for cheap and a new patch? i dunno maybe that's just me

 

for something that's probably not our business, i just noticed Iarwain got banned recently too, oh well *shrugs* like i said none of my business

 

The DLC is just 14 new units... The patch also already includes 14 additional units. All in all 28 new units to play around if you buy the DLC at $3.49 which is cheap imo.
