Wasn't this announced years ago? I remember reading about it ages ago and feeling the anticipation when it was first announced, but now it's like "meh, show me some screens or you're wasting my time".
Just hope they don't cock it up. AVP required you to change underwear several times per game playing as marine. If this new one is anything like it should come with free underpants.
It can't be as bad as the original AVP, with no such thing as footsteps and a single plane of movement. That game was terrifying because you had no idea what you were doing. Everyone just flailed about like headless chickens until they died.
Yeah, I thought the first one blew too. AvP 2 though was outstanding. My only gripe was the crappy spawing in MP.
I thought AVP2 was crap and the first game was great,different tastes i suppose. I hated the engine in 2 however.
It was a nice balance on abilities. If you played against pros though, it become very much like rock-paper-scissors. Alien beats predator, predator beats human, human beats alien.

Well obviously! If there isn't any spine ripping then it's just not worth it . Even though I love the Predator and will play as him, I'm almost looking more forward to the Marine campaign. Was scary as hell in AVP1/2 (much more so than most horror games since). Can't wait to see what they do it with this time.
I got through it but you're right, that motion tracker thing makes the game scary as hell. "They're coming, BUT I CAN'T SEE THEM AAARGHHH!!!"
just read about this game in pcgaming mag and i got tinggles all over (and i promised the misses i would grow up this year lol).
