Flight 447

Discussion in 'The Guru's Pub' started by Deleted member 109358, Jun 6, 2009.

  1. So what happened to it? How does a multi-million dollar A330-300 disappear? These arnt your typical comercial aircraft, they are large in length and carry a substantial cargo & passenger arrangments.

Surly this thing isnt still flying. Its either landed or crashed. Now if it did crash it would have with no dought shattered into thousands apon thousands of peices. If so then, where are the remains?

When I first heard the report of a missing aircraft the first reaction was that it had been hi-jacked. The flight was on route from brazil to paris, France. Is it possible that it was hi-jacked and diverted and may have been on route to the north american coast line? sounds crazy but think about the distance...its quiet posisble considering it was loaded with fuel.

Needless to say, we may hear the truth or it might remain a mystery.

If a plane crash hard and breaks up, there should be pieces floating. Isolation material, bags, plastics ect...

Either they are looking in the wrong direction/place or the plane was still in one piece when it sunk.

Or a new "Bermuda triangle area", aliens, Lost, hijacked :3eyes:

I think they went too fast, and the pilot fell asleep... leaning his head on the steering-wheel and went up in to space. :)

It was said that the weather was pretty dire. Maybe this was the cause of it just dissapearing off the radar and then turbulance or w/e bought the bugger down into the waters.

Not really much worth saying until anything is found, seems really odd to disappear but there are a few extreme explanations for that other than the electrical faults reported.

    imho.. conspiracy..
No really.. they know where it's posititon was last reported, they know for how long it was flying with wich (aprox) speed..
If they wanted to find it, atleast some small fragments, they would allready...

I know the ocean's huge oc.. but if they know an aproximate region, where it was last seen on radar they would find atleast a few fragments..
And the brazilian Air Force.. one day they say they found debris, the next day it's trash from a boat.. come on..

Anyways.. there's something faul on this rly bad imo

The judges who investigated in the Ustica disaster here in italy (alitalia plane shot down by a Us military plane) said many things that happened are very similar to what happened to the air france plane.

now one hypothesis is that someone is trying to hide evidence of the accident cause all the explanations given are not realistic

the plane cannot disappear from radar if it's still in one piece (+ a330 planes got satellite comms and long range coms sistems), the plane cannot go in total electrical failure cause it has four electrical lines + if every line crashes it produces electrical energy using an emergency eolic generator of 1 m diameter (all automatic no need for pilot supervision...)

a lightning cannot damage a plane cause it is a perfect Faraday's cage.

    There are 3 pilots onboard.

I'm on holiday now so don't exactly follow the news every day, but hasn't it been proven that the debri was unrelated to Air France??

Yes and no.. there were two debri fileds.. one was from the plane, as said, the other one only ocean trash..

p.s.: from an unknown source, so dunno if it's true..
Arround the time of dissapearance of flight 447, 12 other jets flew also there, and all pilots reported there were no extreme weather conditions, and no bad storm

Dont think it was hijacked as there were a series of digital messages sent (not text style of course) reporting at least 12 electrical failings, and that the autopilot was dissabled.

If it had lost control, it could have easily veered left or right, and flying at 40,000 feet and about 700mph, could be hundreds and hundreds of miles off course, so they may be looking in completely the wrong area.

Even if they are looking in the correct area, the ocean is THAT LARGER and the waves THAT BIG they could miss an ocean going liner with considerable ease, never mind a few floating pieces of debri from a aircraft, providing the bulk of it hasnt sunk.

I thought it was quite amusing that Air France just phoned up the US government and asked if they could borrow the US's billion doller spy satalites to try and find the wreckage

Amusing indeed. Those things can read the plates on your car from space, so it could definately help with the search for debris. Although, if the debris is under water by now, I'm not sure how it would help.

It seems the plane sent 24 failure messages in its last minutes, reports from various systems shutting down or failing. Including the main computer.

Reports in that they have recovered 2 male bodies.

From the air it is very hard to spot surface debris, people or anything on the surface of the ocean, particularly if the ocean is turbulent. There will only be a small number of aircraft and ships in the search and they would not have an exact spot from which to start a search! There may also be multiple debris fields especially if the aircraft was not intact when it hit the ocean.

The trick now will be to find the black boxes before the 'pingers' die! They last a month so hopefully they will be found soon!

Bless their souls, it must have been awful!
