that little fat kid watching in the background makes me want to kick his azz instead. I'm just not a fan of the graphics in this one. Animation could use some work imo. A console rental for me.
Ill buy it, although Id rather buy re5 for pc 1st. I play so many online games like l4d, css, that playing re5 and being able to save and pause will be a nice change of pace.
PC System Requirements have been revealed : Minimum Windows XP Intel Pentium 4 2.0Ghz 1GB RAM Nvidia GeForce 6600 / ATI Radeon X1600, 256MB VRAM Required. 10GB HDD DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3.0 Recommended Windows Vista Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz 2GB RAM Nvidia GeForce 8800 / ATI Radeon X1900, 512MB VRAM. 10GB HDD DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3.0 Quite low, will be suprising to see how a minimum spec machine would handle it. Unlike DMC4 there's no mention of DX10. They say a benchmark will be included in the game though. We'll also get to tweak the majority of graphics settings like you'd expected in a PC game. funny for recommended it says Vista when it uses DX9. does MS pay these companies for that or what. why would Vista be "recommended" if it plays just as well or better on XP?
I was under the impression that while it wasn't exactly stated the game would use both DX9 and DX10 albeit probably with no real visual differences. (DMC4 instead of Lost planet kinda.) http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/58473
http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,685997/Street-Fighter-IV-PC-explained-in-detail/News/ A somewhat technical preview that focuses on the game engine and similar, quite interesting and it seems like it's very well optimized.
are these joysticks available for pc since one has a playstation logo on it, and the other a sega logo ?
They're made for PS3 and/or Xbox360 but they work on PC perfectly well, the same way a 360 controller also works on PC.
The Japanese Street Fighter blog said today that the PC Benchmark Tool for SFIV will be out on 15th June. I'm sure nobody here will have trouble running it though
im gonna have to get sf4 for pc as well i play on 360 but now i want to play on pc as well with my TE stick
There's about 3 weeks to go and the benchmark should be available to download on the 15th which should further wet the appetite, but yeah it feels like we've waited an eternity already.
Benchmark is out, grab it at 4gamer.net or they might have it at famitsu.com. Runs great, here are some screenshots : This is the result from my system with everything on highest and 4xaa 16x Ani :
Yeah I didn't fair much better, I bet it's being hammered though as it's the only place that as it yet. Edit : BTW, I got display driver stopped responding error with 185.xx drivers in full screen, 186.xx beta's fixed it though
not full screen but yes antialiasing, ok? lol I have vista x64-sp1 w/ 185.85wqhl. I worked fine in full-screen and got 102.37fps (score 12039 but bug?) at 1680x1050 w/ all max setting except AA and motion blur OFF. I got same error when antialiasing is enabled w/ 4x. I love too crt 21" samsung 1100df max 2560x1920@56Hz!
