A game that you love or respect very much!!!

Hi guys short to business, have u ever felt love or so much respect towards a game, and that game although being a game look like a real thing, or got stuck you in the mind and you always enjoy playing it? even at rough times that game makes u feel good?

Well i "felt in love" with Command And Conquer Red Alert 3, it's been half year since relase(little more) and it's still fresh and new to me, i liked that game more than any other game i have ever owned, and sometimes i forget it's a game, the combat themes especially Japan Combat 2 winning theme done so perfectly, i like every aspect of that game.

 

Half-life series. To me its better than crysis, despite a less good engine
The older NFS Games (Undergroud2, Most Wanted) for the sheer fun of it
Diablo/Diablo 2, still play both. These were games I spent weeks on end playing, still do till now...

 

NFS 4, 5, 6.
Metal gear solid 1
Splinter cell 1
Resident evil 1,2,3
Battlefield 2 (old enough ?)

But if i chose one, Metal gear solid would come first...

 

total war and doom series. Love the gran turismo ones too aswell as MGS.

1. MGS series ( i have only played all 3 but yet to play 4 =(
2. Half Life 2 Series ( Ep 1 , 2 etc )
3. Team Fortress 2 (loved it ever since its release )
4. recently UT3 made my list
5. CS Source also recently made my list
6. i find killing floor a very challenging game , it makes Left 4 dead look like childs play ( no crosshair you can get killed by the wave on normal difficulty , even the most experienced players cant survive very long )

 

Nfs,css,resident evil,gta,tf2

 

GTA3, Parasite Eve 2, FF8

 

Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3. Vice City, played that every evening solid for about a year. MGS 1, 2, 3 (3 a bit meh) don't really have to say anything about MGS do I? CS I have to play everyday for medical reasons, and WoW for social/chilled playage. FF7 and FF9. That's all that springs to mind!

Suikoden series & Phantasy Star series.

 

i sure did, it was CIVILIZATION (the first one).

i lost nights and days loving, thinking and breathing this game and even today i go back (even though i prefer CIV IV now).

all games i loved, spent tons of time with, some i played when i was mad like quake and gt, some i played when a bit down like ff and fallout. but all these games left a mark and great memories that make me think about them to this day, if it was the people i met or the amazing stores or experiences i had playing them they stood the test of time.

All give me that nostalgic feeling and make me thing of old times.

TFC reminds me of the summer after my junior year in HS. Best summer ever.

Braid.

Certainly not my favouraite game of all time and probably not the best game of all time, but I absolutely loved it. Everything about it was brilliant. The level design/graphics, the music, the puzzling/platforming, and even (confusing as it is) the story. If you have played Braid take a look at some of the theroies out there people have came up with behind the story. Its crazy! Oh, and if you haven't played it;
1) DON'T read the theroies because they will have spoilers.
2) BUY IT!
