If the new AI director varies things up more, and there are more maps... I'll be all over this. The biggest problem with L4D was there isn't (IMO) that much re playability. Sure you can replay it but after a few times through (which doesn't take long) it becomes repetitive. New paths/bosses/weapons/characters and so on should indeed help it. BRAINZZZ!!!
this sounds like I wasted my money, and Valve waisted their name. I bought l4d because i was waiting for official and usermade content, like tf2. What I got? A sequel. the game didn't made a year and got a sequel? WTH happened with valve? Took years for them to make sequels and now they rush like that? They didn't talked about price, but paying twice wasn't the idea. Hell, the SDK isn't even out yet! there was a rumor about this yesterday, i thought the same as everyone else. "This is impossible for valve" or "this sounds a DLC", now many of the community are shocked. somegameplay videos make it look like exactly like l4d, with little added. L4D won't get mods now, with 2 comming out soon, many won't want to waste their time. imo, i need more info about this, it's sound so wrong.

I'll be all over this like flies on pie. Hopefully you can still send your NPC allies off to their doom as I've found that as one of the best bits in L4D. Sometimes they just really annoy you and it's so satisfying to see them beat up by a tank or witch.
cant wait got l4d on steam aswell as killing floor. Love them both but i still feel l4d is better. So much to build on im predicting a good l4d2
the beta for the SDK is out, the user made content has been being made constantly even though it took awhile for the SDK to come out, and the official SDK, with matchmaker 2.0, and possibly other features should be released in 1-2 weeks (i believe) all l4d custom made content will work with L4D2, aswell as vice-versa
