Azrael5: not sure what you mean by HD audio.

Think Azrael5 Hi-def i.e TRUEHD/DTSAM .. Answer is no .. This why people are waiting for the X-Fi HomeTheater HD .

Unless it is DVD-A or SACD ..

They dont really need to wait for the X-FI hometheater HD unless they must have its X-Fi's Gaming features.

Yea for bein a portal headphone amp, it works great with my headphones. Cost me 22 dollars too.

By small, think of the size of a cash card but a tad shorter and fatter.

Without weeding through the 123 pages......will the prelude 7.1 work in Windows 7? I don't see drivers on their site for Windows 7 beta yet.

If there are drivers for 7, where do I find them, and are there any limitations?

I've heard there is a lot of static / crackle using daniel ks support pack with Auzentech Prelude 7.1 in windows 7. Is this true?

Bodean i dont know about the prelude since i dont have one any more, but I had that static and craclke with daniel drivers on my other computer Xtreme gamer in win7. On the right headphone side.

I had to use creative win7 drivers to get rid of the static/crackle on my other comp. This was with build 7707

The official drivers, well, they work, but you cant change modes (entertainment/game/etc) which is kind of a bummer.

Surprised no one has chimed in.

sorry for the late checking in, but I haven't noticed any pop or crackle in daniel_k's support pack 1.1. not, in the logies Z5500 or the sennies HD212 Pro. I'm pretty happy with this drivers because everything works as you'd expect it.

Can Daniels be installed over the current Auzentech Prelude drivers? Or uninstall first?

    LOL
I'm spending most of my time on the SevenForums blabbing about Windows 7. :nerd:

You should totally uninstall it first. that includes Alchemy, Dolby Digital Live Pack and DTS Connect Pack (if available) from the "Programs and Features" aka "Add/Remove Programs" menu. restart and then install daniel_k's.

Anyone had that sound gap or stop when DDL or DTS enabled (due to Creative clean up), since 1.1 drivers?

had DDL on for an hour in game never seemed to get it .. only asking due to run Analog more these days ..
