    Xp starts in 2048x1536, resolution 2560x1600 isn't available. Must apply lower resolution like 1920x1200 and then 2560x1600 are available and can switch. Drivers work very well for me, excluding this one.

    Did you clean your system with Driver Cleaner Pro (as recomened by Guru3D)?
    Oh dear, that sounded like an advertisement, didn't it? :fuse:
    But seriously: One should always use Driver Cleaner Pro when uninstalling a video card driver to upgrade to a new driver, especialy beta drivers. Otherwise, it's hard to tell if it's a bug with the Beta or a leftover file or registry entry that's the problem.

    is there any possibility that they are cutting support on G80 GPU's?

    or is it just because of being beta release?

    because it's to early to shut 8800 don't you guys agree?

    with moded inf? because he mention 8800 GTX wich is not listed at the

    support list at least

    of course they are going to continue supporting the G92 (8800 series), I mean they just launched another revision of it, the GTS 250. So I would imagine NVIDIA will keep the G92 in mind when designing new drivers, plus the G92 and GT200/GT200b share a lot of fundamentals, which ties them together in driver optimizations.

    do you have a problem reading? i've even especified G80 (8800 GTX)

    GTS 250 ain't G80 and ain't no 8800 series lol

    it's a remaking of 9800GTX wich i had too.

    if you don't have a clue what you're talking about why even bodder trying

    to help with non sense answer?

    Code:
     GeForce 8800 GTS 512"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0601.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0602.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0604.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0605.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT "
    NVIDIA_DEV.0606.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS"
    NVIDIA_DEV.060D.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS "
    NVIDIA_DEV.0610.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0611.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT "
    NVIDIA_DEV.0612.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0613.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+"
    NVIDIA_DEV.0614.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT "

    all these none are G80

    Just so you know the G92 is the 8800 Series, the G92 was first launched as the 8800GT and the 8800 GTS 512, which are 8 series cards.

    G92 and G80 are so closely related, are you seriously arguing with me about older 8 Series and the current G92/G92b which have been rebranded 3 times times? I mean who cares? In my eyes G92 and G80 are basically the same thing with a few optimizations that the G80 didn't have. But essentially the G92 and G80 operate in the exact same way with a few minor tweaks + die shrink for the G92.

    Correct but that tiny difference could explain G80's from having extra problems with Beta's right! :nerd:

    in that perspective all nvidia GPU's have same architecture basicly

    they've putted more transistors, more SP, lower TSMC process node,

    more bus, less bus but since G80 all the same. they even kept GDDR3

    for the architecture

    G80 -> G92 -> G92b

    G200 -> G200b

    Try to insert a G80 bios on a G92 graphics card or the otherway

    i'll see if it works lol

    Calm down. LedHed is extremely knowledgeable in regards of graphic cards.

    Insulting him doesn't exactly gain you any bonus points either. ;)
