What has changed in the 182.08 v1.11 compared to the 182.08 you posted earlier?

More smooth if you play with v-sync.

It seems most drivers are having a problem with Empire: Total War. Not sure if this is something you can do anything about though... but maybe something to consider for your next piece.

    did you disable vsync-tehdoom?
and i think these 182.08 belong to better visual experience in gameplay, and not to benching.
its not easy to optimize for both-2 different directions.

Err, yes I disabled vsync because I typically play games with it off... As to your second point, I admit I hadn't considered that they were for optimizing IQ as opposed to performance, and I will further admit that I only ran these for a quick left 4 dead match and wasn't paying particular attention to IQ...

If I may ask, how exactly are these drivers modified? I've heard all sorts of useless analogies about modified being 'better' in so many intangible ways, but no clear explanations as to what modifications are made, or how these modifications are supposed to help performance or image quality...

    It means, exactly this:

"As a reminder we flash the card in the following manner: nvflash -4 -5 -6 filename.xxx (filename.xxx means bios file name.) And as for nvflash version, the newest I guess.

Thank you, was a bit wierd with 2 times that... :) I asked for a version number, because frankly, its a mess to find out what the "latest" version is.
