You may be right, but I assumed NVIDIA was following the trend set by ATI in the last release where they dropped older cards support in the new drivers.

All good at this end. Sli up 10 points in hawx to 84fps average all max.

My vantage score up 122 points to 23286.

Will keep playing with them, look like keepers to me. Also downclocking working perfectly.

SLI Multi-Monitor is available for Vista 32/64 only.
for 9800GX2 specifically you must use DVI and HDMI outputs on same panel:

but if you followed these... well, pants on fire !

That's not a mistake.. there are functional reasons for it. The next driver set will have it.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

Nope, I've tested under XP 32bits...

    Gonna test that later

Dont use 3dmark to see improvement, try games instead. just because you get a lower score do not mean they didnt speed up games.

This is the downside to 3dmark. people use it to see if there game speeds up instead of actually checking a bunch of there games :bang:

3Dmark06 is indeed fuxored somehow... as soon as I oc even tiniest step or lower voltage or do anything like that, my fps drop to certain level in the first test. It doesn't matter how high or low I clock, it always drops to same fps. But when I try any other applications, crysis bench for example, it shows gains from OC like it should and lower voltage has no effect in performance either.

Well there is a slight problem in my comparison, due to the driver blocking eVGA voltage tuner (can't believe this is actually true), I had to turn my core clock speed down by 10mhz, not much but still a difference.

Also I wanted to ask are the people benching HAWX going to the folder and launching the DX10.exe? Because when I ran the DX9 bench my FPS boosted by 35fps...so it's a pretty big difference if you aren't running it in DX10.

Crysis is giving me issues in showing the results after the benchmark and I just realized my only comparison Vantage scores are when I had the CPU at 4.5ghz....:wanker: so I'm going to have to settle for two benches for now:

HAWX DX10 Mode at Max Settings 4xAA @1920x1200:

Hawx DX10 1920x1200 8xAA ingame and 16xAF forced threw CP.

Loving this game, just need a new flight stick, any suggestions guys?

LedHed, thoughs max fps are crazy but you must have some shocking stutters to only average that. The gtx 295 is a brute of a card but i learned by my mistake after my 9800gx2.

Although i do believe that nvidia will concentrate alot more on driver support this time round.

I will also add that to me the first half of the benchmark seemed to be almost solid at my highest fps . And the second seemed to be around my average, strange benchmark really. although who cares it's all about playing the game really.

Again someone goes after a 3dmark test.. its giving you raw numbers and thats what the human eyes need to show compared results regardless of FPS in a game or how well it looks since there are so many things to cause differences from one system to another. 3dmark was made for a reason and those that gives scores are using that reason which is perfectly fine.

So I ask that you and anyone else just relax about anyone posting a 3dmark score..

SO with that I'll say that BF2 runs good, Crysis Warhead/Wars runs pretty smooth and my 3dmark Vantage score is up about 70points :)

Ah finally some good drivers for my W7 install, seems my 3-way SLI setup likes this set alot, i dont bench anything (not anymore). For me is the feeling that counts, if it feels good and looks good in game i am sattisfied.
I had some major issue's with the 181.71, especailly in DCS Black Shark, i had to turn of SLI and remove the Bridge also otherwise the game would freeze.
Now with this new driver all back to normal (SLI on with Bridge installed) it runs smoother than ever, the game does not benefit from SLI and not even from a dualcore CPU but i can leave it enabled now so i dont have to put it on and off when playing something else. IQ seems also improved a bit,
at least on W7. Keepers for now:)
