You have a corrupted save game file then. I've had this happen a few time with Crysis. Try loading an older saved game.

From what I've noticed so far these are better than 9.2 for me, AVIVO preview section no longer crashes in ATI CCC and the 2D/3D clock issue is remedied by launching a 3D application and then closing it. (Easily checked via Overdrive temperature values.)

    Some negative points though.

NecroVision now crashes during start with a ATI something DLL file error under DX10, DX9 works fine however.

Two Worlds broke in 9.2 and still doesn't work, crashes when loading or starting a new game with a render related error message.

Cryostasis still shows colored artifacts under DX10/SM 4.0 settings when running in fullscreen but works OK in windowed mode but at a somewhat lower framerate.
(Game doesn't really perform well but perhaps that's due to it relying heavily on PhysX, I do have a AGEIA PPU but support was canceled since after the 8.09.04 drivers if I remember the version number correctly though some titles still work with it.)

I'm sure it'll (Some of it anyway) be fixed eventually, perhaps 9.4 or 9.5
(9.3 seems primarily related to W7 support and some core fixes to CCC and such.)

Gah, still the same temp problems with these as in 9.2. I have 83c on these, before 9.2 i was down to around 65c when in 2D..

Exactly why i sold my 2 4870x2 CrossfireX set up :( , i loved those cards , so much power inside of them but the drivers and all the BS trouble and hassle to make it work correctly it is not worth it , i kept waiting and waiting for ati drivers to fix all my problems and it did not happenned ,otherwise i will still have my crossfireX set up. Now that im back on Nvidia Cards its a Joy to have great and many drivers to choose from and im quite happy i put an end to my suffering with ATI drivers and cards , i just wish for all this troubles to go away for the guys having issues like i did with my past experinces with my ATI cards , i know the feeling :( been there done that. Good Luck.

I download every moth the magic drivers, i think. I never had any problems with ATI.
I dont understand all this crying, I know some people have issues with crossfire but there are workarounds, also why come to this forum to let everyone know that changed graphics cards brand? ..who cares?

It is so easy to download from AMD website, click install, reboot and you are good to go. sigh...

I had no luck rolling back to 9.2. Code 39 error in device manager when installing them. Seems like i am stuck on 9.3 until 9.4 comes out :bang:

Wow, this driver seems to rock in Windows 7. Here are my results in both Vista and Windows 7 in Stalker Clear Sky:
Windows Vista SP2 Beta 1920x1200 DX10 Ultra no AA
    Day 24.0 - 48.0 - 98.0
    Night 25.0 - 52.0 - 130.0
    Rain 25.0 - 55.0 - 90.0
    Sun Shafts 16.0 - 34.0 - 57.0
    Windows 7 1920x1200 DX10 Ultra no AA
    Day 29.0 - 51.0 - 116.0
    Night 26.0 - 56.0 - 126.0
    Rain 29.0 - 65.0 - 125.0
    Sun Shafts 20.0 - 36.0 - 58.0
Note the 20% increase in the minimum FPS in the Sun Shafts test, which is by far the heaviest of all.
Once again, in both cases I have used the official Catalyst 9.3.

Necrovision DX10 also crash for me.

Cryostasis colored artifacts can be fixed, reducing the gamma in game options.
