Electronic Arts has today confirmed that it has secured the video game rights to develop games based on the works of espionage writer, Robert Ludlum. Furthermore, the publisher has announced that a video game based on Ludlum's Jason Bourne is already in development at Chronicles of Riddick producer, Starbreeze Studios.

Actually, it didnt suck. It probably just appeals more to certain people, who really like the books or films. Two main complaints were no Matt Damon character or voice, so not quite authentic. And it was short, with no xbox live, it was a complete it once game. Well worth 20 quid, as the fight scenes are great and seem bourne like and of course it has the excellent bourne soundtrack from the films. I am a bourne fan, so i will like it, but they could of done it way worse!
EA and there quality control would be my main concern for the next game. I hope they dont screw up the important elements of what bourne is all about.

If it is starbreeze then there is no reason to worry hopefully - riddick was awesome, extremely polished.

EA should die , just wait until the NFL deal is over, they will renew it until 2020.

I hope they lose the FIFA liscense... about time someone else had a crack at that whip aswell.

Their sports engines are very poorly designed, although i do like Fifa 09, it's still a crap engine.

EA has a success/fail ratio of 1 in 100. Dead Space was that lone good game. This will probably be rubbish similar to Stranglehold and Quantum of Solace.

ya if EA does not actually make the game and just publishes it, then it has got a shot. course then you still got to deal with EA on the customer service side (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA) and of course their DRM, and their clear lack of concern and contempt about PC users in general.

and for the record still waiting for my EA preorder crysis stuff..... huzzah.

NO! EA MUST NOT DIE!!! If EA dies there would be no rubbish games and publisher to bash on anymore. This forum would be full of kind, nice and polite words, and would be very boring to read. What kind of life is that???

Loved the trilogy very much. But most of the times, movie based games that I bought are sucks. Last one is Iron Man... :3eyes:

lol this thread is funny, poor EA lol

Like almost all other movie based Games, they turn out to be rubbish (terrible gameplay, cheap cash cow using the movie title to sell). Lets hope this one is actually decent! (Like the Riddick game!)

How many examples do you want? EA are a disaster full stop with their unfinished releases that require 500MB patches to finish.

Last game I played by EA was RA 3, it's just horrible.

I'm not sure if I've ever played a movie game before and liked it since Goldeneye on N64! :)
