Ok, this is just a little early, however in the next few days I can imagine that a lot of people will have the 9.1's tested in every possible way they think fit so what requirements are needed to improve on the 9.1's, what faults do you think ATI missed? And when do you think ATI should release the 9.2's after such a late 9.1 release? :3eyes:

i found it easiest to see with GW eye of the north login screen but ingame open menus as they are black, its pretty easy to spot too, but its same in every game as i said

    edit:character selection ofc not login

Ok I have installed the 9.1 and fan speed is now locked on 50% with no scailing. I suppose if I like my case sounding like a Hoover it is just that.

To fix the issue of over loud fan Db, I will have too unlock ATI Overdrive and set it back too 35%.

C'mon ATI. How hard is it to make a factory profile that adjusts a fan from 30% to 50%.

    Sux.

Please add this into the 9.2's.

to add this is from AMD - Customer Care:

So just an update for you, we've reproduced the problem and our engineering team is investigating the problem. For now, there is no solution but if you had an older driver that was working, please use that temporarily.

Yeah something is not right. There is no way ATI would fix fans at 50% it would cause uproar.

Good luck with sweeper, it causes loads of problems. Just express uninstall all ATI software in Control Panel and re-install.

this leaves manifest and profile files to hidden folders that may or may not be overwritten by new install
