Fallout looks GREAT with these drivers, but it crashes instantly once I do VATS outdoors. Weird.

compare it yourself if you want lol. I wasn't, nor am I going to download and install the old driver again just to take few screenshots for you lol, then install this one again. also you can see most of the people saying that IQ is better with these... could easily be that they just increased default sharpness and contrast ... so even if you look the same picture it will look sharper with these drivers .

I agree with your comment on 185.20. However they were never meant for mass consumption.

For me this latest release is way better.
Up to now a nice increase in fps in COD4/WAW and FC2. IQ seems to be a bit sharper as well but that may be just me.
    Well worth a try :)

the few mins after I posted that and made the edit saying they worked fine...they were again working fine. The US site is working good with no issues but thanks anyway :)

The drivers installed and look great on a Xp32bit machine with a 8600GT and my Vista 32bit 9800GTX machine..

You have a Geforce GTX280 and you play the game on DirectX9, Why?

You got a Very fast computer and you play DX10 Games on DX9, thats st*pit.

Some people, like myself like to game at 60fps or as near as all the time, DX10 can drag it down a wee bit too much in certain games, even a GTX280.

If you got 24FPS on Min then you don't need 60FPS.

Also people can't see more then 24FPS.

So if you get Min 24FPS, i mean not in Ave op High, then you have no problems in games.

Also the games, look much better in DX10 than in DX9.

Even i can play Crisis all on Very high, DX10, 64Bit, 1600x1200, with
    no problems.

Crysis is more playable than others around the 20-30fps mark, but still isn't playable for me.

Who told you people can't see more than 24fps, and movies aren't a good example as one movies have motion blur, and two 24fps is still too low for movies, even IMAX started using 48fps cameras but gave up as they were too expensive.
Dead Space is a good example, put it on, shoved on V-Sync, thought somethings not right here, framerate is messed, so put Fraps on, and realised it was capped at 30.
If your happy with sub 30framerates great, but anything under 50 average wears my eyes out in 10-15mins.

Damn, this sounds like a rant :3eyes:

Yes, I am quoting myself ;)
I got the drivers to work. Had to re-download from Nvidia. The ones from laptopvideo2go, did not work. Just a note for others out there.

    You must have bad eyesight

    Download the movie here.
If you can't see the difference there's something wrong with your eyes.

    What is VATS' :$

I tested Far Cry 2 and runs around 35-85 FPS (50 FPS average more or less), exactly the same than last WHQL. I will try Crysis and Mass Effect tomorrow :)

No problems for em running Vista-32 :pc1:

Its like slowmoe autoaim, where you can pick a bodypart to shoot at, with a certain percentage of success.

Strange, I never had this problem with any Forceware 180.xx or the 185's.

So I can say that I don't have this stutter.
