Nvidia ForceWare 185.20!!

well after installing this driver i got twice BSOD and once while playing hitman blood money and other while playing age of empires 3 .... wat i have noticed is that only very few games support ambient occlusion ..even GTA 4 doesn't support ambient occlusion ... if anybody want to test ambient occlusion try games like crysis devil may cry 4 assassin's creed ....

please help me in installing the physx driver ... i installed the 8.11.18 physx driver but still nvidia control panel shows 8.11.13 ...

 

Anyone have problems with Vantage? I lost textures in the Entry level test in the first test, but it rans ok, and ends ok. But can't do any of the other 3 tests, no performance, no high, no extreme. It saids it has an error getting the system information and give a link to 3dmark. Never happen this kind of error. Maybe is for the psyshics? Also, in others games I also see the image in 2 lines all around the screen with 2 differents types, at least on some benchmarks test I used. Maybe the SLI isn't working right with these drivers.

if, u still have the8.11.13 physx package double click on it it'll ask u do u want to uninstall hit yes then resart boot in safemode and use driversweeper http://downloads.guru3d.com/Guru3D---Driver-Sweeper-(Setup)-download-1655.html to clean out the registry remains from the old physx install reboot then install. the new physx package

These drivers broke Crysis: Warhead on my rig, but TR:U, Dead Space, L4D, as well as Vantage all show nice improvements in FPS.

Vantage with 180.48 - 21655

Vantage with 185.20 - 22042

So, considering I had already played through Crysis: Warhead before I installed these, I'll keep 'em for a bit longer and see what else I can get out of them.

not good for me,i got black screen when starting red alert 3 and undercover,using win7 7000,with 179.23 everything is fine.

 

Yep same here, and the physx screen saver makes the driver not respond.

 

I tested the drivers in 3DMark Vantage + PhysX.

3DMark Score: P13215

GPU Score: 11103
CPU Score: 30775


Great score, i do not have any artifacts anymore, i had artifacts with Geforce 181.00.

 

Doesn't detect installed games and I'm getting the nv4 BSOD error.

Will try reinstalling and see if that helps.

 

These drivers works fine for me...and warhead runs very nice with ambient occlusion..the bad thing is that i lost 2/3 fps with AO on high.Excause my english

 

I'm curious, there are those who experience lots of problems with these drivers, and others that have no problems at all and gain performance.

Is that OS related? XP versus Vista? Or is it card related? 8X00 series vs 9X00 series versus GT200 series?

Does any insight into that exist?

 

I have a Geforce 8800GT the same core as a Geforce 9, and on my computer
it works great, only the save files of Fallout 3 dos not work.

 

Installed these few hours ago, expected to get missing game list in nvcpl, but they're all there, so is the new occlusion. 181.00 gave massive texture artifacting (the dust in New Calico/Vantage), these didn't.

Only tested CoD5 SP and Vantage so far.

SLI GTX260, Vista x64

OC works also (RivaTuner 2.22). But the 2nd card's fan blew @ 100%. RT 2.22 enabled it's low-level fan control, and 100%, simply disabled it for AUTO (using modded fan settings via BIOS).

GTA 4 is working great, FPS increase and no longer getting flickering or anything.

Crysis Warhead is also working nicely, performance is about the same.

BUT! Why the **** ******* ****** is DV still resetting after reboot?? I cannot understand.

Still, these are keepers.

 

same for me, DV reseting, altho not after every reboot, just randomly after reboot sometimes...

 

Just wanted to post to say thanks to Guru3D for hosting the files on fast servers.

Also, the only setting that I am able to adjust in the game profiles when available is the Ambient Occlusion. I was able to install over the 181 drivers without a problem and no BSODs yet.

 

Unbelievable i have 2x 8800GT in SLI and i have a score of:

3DMark Vantage + PhysX.

why do people buy a Geforce 9800GTX, when a Geforce 8800GT is almost as fast, but a lot cheaper?
