Just an FYI on these.. I uninstalled and did a clean install of the new ones, and now my monitors are Reversed... Aka Monitor 1, which was my left screen (the one my bios uses and windows boots on), when u enter windows, switched to my right one... So i had to go into control panel and switch the monitors around (2 on left, 1 on right) and set 2 as the primary display (i play my games on the left screen)..

Dunno if anyone else has that with these...

    One question though.

Why the large jump in version number?

Vista x64....installed easy. Seem to work fine. New gucci options in Control Panel. What is the consensus on Ambient Occlusion? NV recommended setting is off.....

Yeah that happened to me as well, with my main pc monitor being display `2` instead of 1 it caused nothing but headaches with the wrong display being used (even when I set my pc monitor as primary!) I re-installed the drivers with my sony hdtv disconnected & only reconnected it back up after rebooting & all was back to normal, main montior display 1 & sony hdtv display 2 :)

Left 4 Dead froze when I launched it.

I keep getting system freezes and the only correction is a hard reset.

    Any ideas?

    Video drivers?

    Something else?

I don't know if it's the driver or something else that caused the freeze but i decided to take note here.

FallOut3 has 3-5% better performance. The game ran fine before, but even better with these!?

I wish Nvidia made an OS and a pc that is only made out of video cards. Thanks for the links!

Tried them out. I get artifacting in Crysis with these drivers. With 180.48 no artifacts so I'm gonna go back to them.

I did however try out the new AO option. On high it absolutely destroys frame rate, but it is a really nice effect. Makes lighting a lot nicer, and seems to add some depth of field effects unless I'm crazy.

I tried it with Crysis and DMC4. In Crysis it dropped me from 55 avg to about 35 avg fps on all very high 1920x1080.

DMC4 was hit even harder by it though, i normally get higher than 205fps in all 4 benchmarks with 16xQ aa, 16x AF and supersampling transparency AA @ 1920x1080 in DX10. With this new AO option the benches dropped down to 50-60fps. The effect was noticable but wow thats a huge drop. Wonder if it is still in the tweaking phase.

I didn't try the medium or low settings for it before reverting back to 180.48
