    Seems like Dead Space looks alot better with 181? Or is it just me?

    i also noticed some FPS drops in this game. Strange.

    Got pretty much the same score in 3Dmark06 aswell.

    180.84 = 12033

    181.00 = 12029

    Maybe a keeper. Going to try 180.84 in Dead Space again to compare.

    EDIT: Same FPS with Both drivers in Dead Space. A keeper for sure :)

    Well it WAS made to test OGL3 so i tested a benchmark that was OGL but it is only 2.1.
    Gives some kind of idea though fps has been better in this one but overall ok driver.
    Well off to make MIko choke some more hookers and see if there is an improvement for me there:nerd:

    Benchie pic here.

    Edit:
    Note the funny triangel under the sevice pack 2 beta eval note?
    It was from something in driver backend.exe crashing will look into it.
    After a quick peek it was the lightsmark program that uses it to protect there code so no biggie

    Nv tools peformance removes itself upon installing new driver

    I don't know if any of you guys have this problem but everytime I install a new driver the peformance part of Nvtools vanishes from the control panel and I have re-install it. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening. Instead on two re-boots it takes me 4 on every driver because of this. Any help I appreciate and happy holidays to you all.:bang:

    tried dont using driver sweeper between installs?not using it can cause problems with old files+new driver, but if the driver works fine it shudnt be a problem.

    Is whatever deadly conflict with Left 4 Dead fixed I wonder. I never got stuttering issues, just sometimes a complete system freeze with the repeating sound. Otherwise the game never stuttered or slowed down at any point for me. So if still stuttering in 181 for some, I assume the freeze issue may still occur.

    i'd have to agree. out of the 180 series, the .60's are the best for me aswell.

    installed the 181 drivers .. checked with openGL viewer and it still shows openGL 2.1 but it supports 95% of openGL 3.0 except for shading language version 1.3 all others are supported and no of extensions are 174 (before 171)... gears of war sucks with these drivers

    Hello there, in Left 4 Dead, in Options, advanced, ( disable double core option ) that should fix your problem, for me it works.

    Good Luck.

    Good to hear. I'll try these out when I get home from work tomorrow, hopefully the flickering shadows in Tomb Raider Underworld have been solved. The flickering on Lara was pretty bad in the Thailand opening cutscene.

    Of course it works, but then you'll probably have lower FPS depending of your CPU/video card.

    Nvidia really needs to fix it with their drivers so we can keep it enabled.

    I have the same problem. And it won't detect any of my installed games either.
