damn, no vista 64

 

lol, Vista is the most stable system I ever used. Never need to reinstall windows anymore which I needed to do with xp every month, so annoying. And every game I play is more stable with overclocking and higher fps, I cant understand why the majority is against vista. I have windows 7 64bit now, which is great too, 100% stable. vista pwnz if you ask me. And the best thing with windows vista and windows 7 is that my HTPC is stable now, which was impossible to get with XP, XP crashed as fast as I changed channel, now I can have my HTPC with windows 7 so long as I want it to be ON and able to change channel without restart the computer.

 

To each their own, I run both XP32 and Vista 64 but I dont game in Vista. It may be great for a lot of things but it blows for gaming and wont be around long enough to develop properly into a viable platform.

Im not going to comment on Windows 7. I've been around PCs for long enough that when I hear people talking about Pre Beta OSs being "100% stable", that they are usually talking right out of their asses.

I had desire of going vista, went 2 times, but it seems that the combo of m2v, 9600gt and vista doesnt work xD, with my old 7950gt i could do, but with 9600gt it keeps crashing, even without overclock

anyways they r different, vista is for upper pc imo xP

 

Eny1 with Vista just upgrade to XP and install this drivers...easy jk

 

not aimed at undying but enough bout xp bashing who cares it's an os not a broad xp has it's good points just as vista does lets keep this thread on track it's bout the drivers:3eyes:

 

This has nothing to do with a specific OS. It has everything to do with a person leaking a driver. Who knows why, maybe they just dont have Vista drivers to leak.

 

Im well aware of that. Just didnt see the need for dissing XP.

I can't sit still when someone says Vista is good because he's marketing victim and tries to convince himself like "I wasn't brainwashed! I spent my money right!" Useless frippery, glass crap etc. And those arguments that only modern hardware is designed for vista are pointless. Vista is MS mistake and hungry for resources. Half-baked system released to masses.A mass beta test. remember Win Millennium. I'll stay with XP for a year until Win 7 will be released. I'm keeping my system clean and it works for a couple of years without the reinstall. And dude what a lame situation to reinstall windows every month! Pathetic sight. Sorry,but I hate Vista.

I agree. Vista is so much better than XP in every way. At this point there is absolutely no difference in framerates between the two OS's. So the questions is, why use XP? Vista does everything XP does and does it better. It also does more too....

Ummmm...I, at times, hate both. After all they both require human input which has proven to be unreliable at times.

 

I dont like it. Much prefer XP for gaming, especially with older games. Like I said, to each their own.
