I think it will fit. According to the specs it has a 16 lane PCIe 1.0 slot, which is fine. It looks like there is room enough for the card too.
Yes it should fit the mobo fine. Are u running your system in a mini-tower case or a lanbox? If so u might wanna check the dimensions of the case to be sure. Note that its a dual slot card as well and u may lose an extra pci slot for expansion. On another note, I still dont get why many individuals are so fixated on these 4670's I mean yeah they're decnet performers but still overpriced considering the present availability of the 3870, 9600gt and 9800gt.
Unless you want to be in the sub 100 market. Or, unless you want a card that will fit in a mini-ATX case that has good power, is realitively quiet, and is of course the correct size.
True. However in regards to price, the 4670 that was referenced by the op is $100, and newegg has both a powercolor and sapphire 3870's for $100 and a zotac 9600gt for $105
Would I have to upgrade my PSU if I were to get a 9600gt then? I was going to get the 4670 because of its low power consumption. I'll also be gaming at 1440x900.
Yeah, actually you probably would have to upgrade your psu, the lowest psu that could handle a 9600gt would have to be a high-end brand such as antec, thermaltake, ocz, abs tagan, etc with at least 380w and probably 18a on the 12v rails. That would probably be the absolute minimum. So yeah, unless u wanna upgrade your psu, stick to the 4670 then. I didn't even look at the one he pointed out, I assumed it was reference. That one is a waste, though I expect it would overclock superbly.

Exige have you used a 4670 in your rig just asking cause you sure flame the card alot.Trust me even though the reviews have been great those cards were reference/engineering samples.Once you pop one in your machine you would see why everyone has talked highly of these.I havent played a game yet this card wouldn't own with ease including crysis warhead.And 8.10 is gonna be the first driver with full support for the card.Give the card a break it could never be a bad suggestion a for a midrange rig....
If the card was actually priced at its msrp, I would have no qualms about it whatsoever, however it just seems that time and time again people are looking at overpriced models of it that are generally within $5 range of better hardware. That's all. I personally wouldnt pay $100 for one, however if I saw one for $75 -$80 I'd definitely recommend it.
The card is in high demand right now its not gonna be at its msrp for sometime.This is always the case for a product such as this you have to consider everything about it.Low power comsumption runs cool as heck is very small for many wont require a psu upgrade,feature set etc.Sorry i jumped at ya im just trying to convince people this card is even better than reviews suggest.Ive had nothing but a smile on my face since the day i opened the box:banana:
Not to mention in crossfire these scale like nobodies business.And someone could have a nice crossfire rig with a relatively small psu.
+ it plays every game i throw at it-i m using the DNA 8.9 vistax86 drivers and they are great i think the impressions will change as the official 8.10s are out with full support AND IT ROCKS!!!:banana::banana::banana: no hassles no nothing just pop in the card and u r gaming in no time
