Metal Gear Solid 4 - got it, what do you think....

the manual that comes with the game explains clearly the CQC usage. read and practice.u will master it . @ first i had problems too. read it my friend. iam just unhappy with freezing enemies. it is random, i approach from behind and snake says freeze. but sometimes nothing happens and enemy turns and see me. this is random or not?

Oh my... This game is truely amazing. Been at it for 17 hours now and still about to start chapter 4 i think. Thing is, you cant just go for lets say 30mins gameplay, as sometimes the cutscenes are 1 hour I stayed up til 2.30 last night watching Snake fight Liquid in Europe... probably longest cutscene so far (worth it though).

i agree whats with the hate on the cut scenes! its MGS for christ sake its kinda a interactive movie in a way. the cutscenes for me just drew me more and more into the game. i watched every minute and loved it all

i was so hyped and like jumping and moving around during that fight lol. best EVER it all just leads up to it and you cant contain yourself. MGS4 is GODLY. when the snake eater theme came up during that fight it was like magic! also love to death mgs3

I'm on act 4 and although I thought act 3 was a bit weaker, so far it is possibly the best game I've ever played. Amazing story telling!

 

Yeah, you always think that you'll just finish a little bit more of the game before you go to sleep and then the cutscene comes along which is like 40 mins long, stayed up till 4am last night watching that one in europe (with Liquid). The best part for me was so far when Raiden fights Gekkos and the bits after that... Amazing.

 

Ok, here it goes guys. I finished it last night at around 4am. It is the best gaming experience I've ever had. Act 4 is pure brilliance. That level at Shadow Moses was just such a good idea. I'm actually pretty sad that I'd finished it, I want more! Took me 18 hours to finish it. I seriously want some more MGS goodness. This game is art. Nothing even remotely comes close. Story, graphics, sound (amazing soundfx!!!), the whole lot just blew me away.

No PC game comes close. No console game comes close. For atmosphere and the way it wraps you round and never let's go, this is the best ever game hands down. Other games look like jokes now, that's how good it was for me. Hats off to Hideo Kojima, he created a masterpiece that will be very hard to better.

Well... I used the rpg I'm pretty sure... just keep running around and use solid eye so you can track his movement a little better... then once he stops running, launch a few well aimed shots. For me the key was to keep moving, he has a few places where he usually stops to catch breath... Good luck!

There are two problems I have with MSG4 and two problems only.

One. Fire is very very subpar compared to all the rest of the graphics. It really bothers me sometimes because it feels really out of place.

Two. It is PS3 exclusive.

Apart from that the game is about as close to perfection as it gets.

 

Im going to go through again and try to beat it without killing anyone
