u shud count also, that driver is on high performance, aka if you put your nvidia one at high perf, it may be less difference.

 

how much +fps in Crysis then the normal drivers? xD

 

Inf "quality" in package give extreme quality , stock inf give good quality comparable with XG driver.

Whoa...3dMark06 dropped 4000+ points with these. I usually don't judge drivers by a benchmark but this is just too much of a drop.

177.73 xp is very bugy driver , 100% no release xp version maybe vista.

177.79 are out...maybe "a modded by side" version are on the way?

 

The XF Vista 177.73 is the best driver for my rig now. No hangups and sudden drops in performance, and no nv****.dll error. But I'm going to test 177.79 WHQL now . People are psyched about them.

 

It's fairly obvious everyone here games and no one drives simulators. Is there somewhere drivers are tested on simulators? My 8800GTS-512 is terrible on sims w/o AA regardless of dozens of drivers tried.

as far as i know, if ya use 177.70 INF (aka side one) in 177.79 drivers, doesnt it apply the changes as well as in 177.70?
