LOL. I just imagined how awesome it would be if Gran Turismo 5 , GTA IV and Final Fantasy XIII were all announced as coming to PC. I would have numerous orgasms, followed by a stroke i think...

 

Wow, im probably the only one who doesn't care about FF one bit Those kind of games never attracted me...

 

RPG aren't that of a BIG seller on the 360 either.

They have alot of title(rpg) but the same people buy them.

And most of FF is cut scenes anyway.

If the story is no good it could kill the game.

 

I haven't been interested in FF since 7 came out, and to be honest, I haven't even played 7. All the other ones seem to be nothing but pretty graphics.

You still need the disk. It will be like the Ps3, partial installs. To make loading faster

I think this is a continuing trend. As long as you still keep a handful of super exclusives, its still good in my book.

If Sony announced stealing Bioshock or something now instead of before, I'm sure the blow would have been softened.

Personally I don't care...I think Sony is doing something really clever although it looks really retarded from the outside. They are switching up their market and making new brands..not milking the cow. I think that spells innovation.

Sony don't need to be cheap by announcing a game that belonged to another console.

Sony is always about innovation and new.

I've been alot happier with my ps3, had it since launch. Same with 360.

Even if i still had my 360, i'd be really disappointed with it.

 

ppl whining about disc changing are funny :e jesus it takes 1 mins to change disc and usually thats after maybe 10-20hours of gaming... if its an rpg that is...

xbox 360 is fine console i still got the launch one

sonys innovation is where exactly wii is sort of innovative atleast but neither sony or ms made such things as innovative sure cell is good and all.

/ im glad tho i don't need to buy ps3 anymore i loved ff series really well ok i might buy ps3 when it gets cheaper.

and about stuff selling more here and there japan is given that ps3 sells more. europe both consoles are at same numbers now while in america xbox 360 clearly sells more. and wii out sells both everywhere T_T

 

I can't see this is in anyway bad for anyone on Earth apart from Sony shareholders. More choice = More competition = Good for consumer. It's very simple.
Personally I find these games boring so won't be getting it. But it pleases me that more people can play it.

What the hell does any of that mean!? "Switching up their market."? Do you work in Sony's marketing department?

 

i actually find it outlandish you would call anyone working for Sony;s marketing department, one of the worst appendages of all big corporations. I don't know about you but I don't see any JRPGs for the console, one that makes up the backbone of the ps2 library. Their target market has changed..thus switching up the market. If they were in the same market, they would have a field day trying to pat people on the back about the Microsoft surprise.

If you haven't noticed, the majority of the winners are FPS's/shooters and now arcade games.

At least a good 8 of them are RPGs, and those are the BEST ones.
You can't even name 3 good rpgs for the PS3. I believe there's about 1 and its not an AAA title either.

 

Well i really don't care if Sony lost FF13, as long we have Kingdom Hearts 3 i am all good : )
