I'm hoping to see PowerPlay in Cat 8.7. And some performance boost :D

    Hm...I'd guess that's a no...?

Gave them a shot, but the only unresolved issues for me are with X-Wing Alliance on my 3870 <-----

Seems every ATI board in the HD series won't run XWA for some damn reason, yet the latest NV boards do...The game does seem to run, but the video end crashes endlessly due to some f*cked up driver change that ATI did not pay attention to when making the HD-series drivers...

I'll have to give that a go, I played that game right through to the end Years ago, took me about 30 attempts to complete the Death star run. A good game in its day, shame they haven't done a new one with Graphics to take advantage of modern video cards.

I take it You've tried Win 95 or Win98 comapibility mode, if it supports 3dfx try a glide wrapper.

    These drivers are very nice.

Work fine on 1900xt in xp.

    Not tested in vista.

Grid runs better, Opengl is fixed.

    Nice!

Post a report ticket towards support and driver team, wait for the response and explain your problem.

Btw, nV f*cked up Midtown Madness 2 above driver version 11.83, havent fixed it since. ^^

These are dated 06-25 so should be newer than the hotfix.

I don't think so, the 48xx hotfix use the 8.501 catalyst driver which use the CCC 8.6, If this one is indeed 8.520 and using 8.7 then it will be newer than the 8.6 hotfix in driver version, also, i think the driver version contains string like 080621 which i guess its a time stamp(only guess work and no evidence support) for the driver so you might want to check it as well.
