Something stinks about the Vantage scores, I as well got a huge increase of several hundred points. That is NOT reflective of general gaming performance. It may be for Physix enabled games, but those are too few at the moment. ATI should be raising a stink to Futuremark. That will skew the market towards Nvidia. Futuremark has a scandal in the making imo.

me too ! Horrible big black squares when i choose or quit CLOAK.
Also noticed disapearing weapons on the floor, you can take one but only see the shadow...

Hope nvidia will quickly fix that in official release. :3eyes:

Anyone got the 177.39 drivers with modden WinXP 64bit inf?

Tried with the 177.35 inf but it only results in I'm not being able to open the nVIDIA ControlPanel?

Is there anyway to mod the PhysX to work with G80?

So anyone know exactly when the drivers with 8800GT support are coming? And are the 8800's capable of PhysX? I guess according to the first post they are, But I don't know.

I installed 177.39 with a modded inf(modded 177.35 with driver version changed) + the Physx driver 8.06something on Vista x64 and it works great.

The Vantage score is a lot higher and Physx is enabled in Geforce mode. The 177.39 drivers them selves seem allright too except for some artifacts in R6Vegas2 that weren't there witrh earlier driver versions.

All in all, for beta drivers, it works pretty great. Crysis rocks with these drivers, Grid, COD4, The Club and Bioshock work like a charm.

BTW. I don't know what fantastic effects R6Vegas2 is supposed to have with Physx enabled but it was an ugly old fashioned looking game and it still is;)

I only care for Physx support if I need it for a great looking game with great gameplay.

Somehow I doubt PhysX acceleration is working for you - G80

Well, since the G80 has the same cuda support as the g92, I wouldn't be surprised if it does work with a bot of inf tinkering.

    177.35 + the physX driver gives a great boost in 3DVantage. :)

On the Physics Test went from 17.8 Operations/sec to 128.49 Operations/sec and my score went from P11164 to P13013.

i have installed the 177.39 driver and the new physics driver. But when i look at the properties from nvidia physics it says it didn't find a supporting chip. Geforce physics and the other one are greyed out.

Maybe because my G80 core card 8800 gts 640 ???

I was able to run all CUDA SDK tests on my card still so CUDA is working on all 8 Series and up cards, we just don't have CUDA PhysX enabled below G92 yet.
