To show the Vista drivers from Nvidia is terrible.
And, Vista isnt good for gaming.
And, force users with cool graphics like GTX, HD 3870x2 and GX2 expend much money buyng that and im get the same performance...
In future im buy other GTS 640...from evga, and soft mod sharders to get extreme performance...
    On 3dmark 06, on 1440x900, im getting 13k points...

    On 1024x768 ( default ) 15k points...

Man...because lauching new cards ? Only for idiotyes expend money...

    Bye

Lol, except the fact that 1024x768 isn't default, 1280x1024 is.

Vista SP1 is very fast so I doubt it looses a lot of performance

I think it's impressive. Especially that CPU overclock to 3.43 GHz. Are you cooling it with ice, elecg2? ;)

I don't think it's so much overclocking as re-forging the GPU die, which is something I would be VERY impressed to see. Some photo documentation of the process would be awesome.

Its not overclocked, i believe the SSC version of the 640 actually has 112 Shader Processors. Theres no way to unlock shaders on the cards, if they even Physically exist in the first place, so how he's claiminghe has 128 is beyond me. They arent Pipelines, they cant be unlocked, and as much as he wishes he had 128 "Sharder" Processors, he doesnt.

But, use server 2003 r2 sp2 and you see an big increase on performance...

Im have instaled Xp sp3 and Vista sp1, dont have any diference.
With Server Enterprise, this manange my 4gb of ram, use xp drivers ( more stable than vista drivers)...

    Vista xuxx
