that's strange? it should work fine, try disconnecting from the internet maybe the game hangs trying to contact the website and failing or something it happens sometimes with selective games.

you've got the original game or downloaded?

 

what mouse you got ? have you tried updating its drivers and software ?

must be Vista then can't find any other explanation for this, works a charm here in xp sp3 the only thing that's pissing me off is the fact i can't find a way to change the country label on the car it keep showing DEN (denmark) and in the profile you can only change the avatar wtf

was playing right now.. the game rocks some of the gold medals were impossible (at first) so you must learn new ways to drive around the track as you go which is cool, the fact you can create your own track too makes it fun just like Stunts, this game is so fast and the graphics so psychedelic thanks to the exaggerated blur effect i'm sure we'll end up lobotimized in the not so distant future haha it's like tripping on pills

I'm playing this game at a professional level. The competitive enviroment is Stadium, where 95% of all tournaments and leagues are played on.

I suggest you to try out Trackmania Nations Forever ( www.trackmanianations.com ). It's free to play and is basically the same as Trackmania United but then limited to the one ( and only one that matters ) enviroment: Stadium.

Which means you also get to play online, which is loads of fun .

 

I had this problem too you have to go into device manager and start disabling your usb human interface devices (trial and error) until you find the one that causes the problem.
