2.Install RE4 PC Texture Patch 2.0

You need to have all the 6 part in the same folder, then execute/open part 1.exe. Install/Extract the patch in your "Resident Evil 4" or "biohazard 4" folder. This should create or overwrite xfile, xscr and ogg folders.

3.Install EMBSeries.ini modified

Extract the files into the main game directory and press Shift+F12 to activate the mod. It deactivates upon ALT+TAB, so just press Shift+F12 again to reactivate after switching back to the game.

RE4 Graphics Mod

 

I got Resident Evil 4 Wii because the PC version was meh due of a poor PS2 port.

 

Yeah, me too.

But, after having already completed it two times, i'm pretty damn bored of it.

Ive been using it for the past week and enjoying Re4, although the colour settings in the configs are wrong, you can modify them to reduce the colour intensity, looks much better

 

I just bought RE4 wii edition and what to know where are all the damn zombies? This is my first RE game but I thought there were supposed to be zombies.

 

They've written them out of the plot now.

i cant get it to work! ive extracted all the files to resident evil 4 folder, but when i presss shift and F12 nothing happens! ohh and im using vista 64

 

you sure you havnt got function enabled? otherwise set UseEffect=1 in the ini to permanectly enable it

loved COLD FEAR, hated RE4 with or without mods unfortunately.

 

Yeah, cold fear was a really good game, but I still don't get it why it had received such medicore scores. On the other side, RE4 wasn't bad, gameplay was superb, except graphics are outdated without mods.

 

I just joined the webpage for this game alone.

And I was curious to know if there were any traditional graphics options available to tune RE 4.

I don't mean the Extra Graphics mods, but a way to tone things down I.E foliage etc to my own preferance. Or would those things only be available in a player-made mod?
