Hmm, NOD32 just gave me the following message ten minutes after installing this driver version using the station-drivers link. Pretty weird, I've never gotten anything like it before and a web search didn't come up with any info on that file name.

Just checked the package with DOSBoxed F-PROT with brand new sig files. Nothing found with heuristic total dump scan.

Yes, these give nice boost. 400 more marks in 3dmark06 compared to 174.85. I'm not in any mood to try the latest DX10 titles with these in SLI mode. Sorry. I lost my hope. Besides that pretty much all DX10 games suck. Waiting for official Ass Creed patch before even touching it with 10 feet stick.

Using my INF, no problems. Right driver version and all.

Its not the drivers, because that file isnt in my Syswow64 folder, so you got that from somewhere else??

Wow, how glad im now that I didnt buy the 9800gx2!!? I got almost the same performance with my turbo gtx. :) Im waiting for the GT200 instead. Not trying to make you feel bad, but would have expected better performance from a dual highend card??

I've tried two different link locations for 174.88 Win XP32 but both packages say they "do not support Windows XP", even though it shows in the nv4disp.inf: DiskID1 = "NVIDIA Windows 2000/XP Driver Library Installation Disk 1"

That's when I try to update the drivers from the device manager. The nVidia installer just tells me in 5 seconds that the components have been installed but nothing actually changes. Maybe I'll skip this one.

Umm dude you know DX10 in Assassins Creed is for optimzed speed not flashy effects. Therefore DX10 in Assassins Creed is actually faster than DX9...and its true.
