    Hello to all.
In this thread I want to ask your opinion about GUI changes in ATT.
At first I want to completely remove 3D submenu
    [IMG]
All 3D settings still can be accessed from Settings dialog box.
What do you think about it?

uh, I guess that would be a good idea, dialog box seems to be a clearer way to view the settings, but not everybody likes to access the dialog box every time they want to change 3D Settings

Yeah I agree with the above poster, I think you should keep them as they are effectively a nice shortcut.

I don't get it - are you considering removing the ATT submenu entitled "3D"? Because if so, how will one access "Settings", which itself is actually a submenu of "3D"? Or will you just pretty much replace "3D" with "Settings"? If so, why would you do that? Being able to quickly tweak individual 3D settings via the "3D" submenu is very convenient, and since you will need another submenu ("Settings"?) in the place where "3D" is currently located, the UI will not be any more compact than it already is.

Though... To be honest, I don't even use the CCC compatibility mode feature, so it doesn't really matter much to me what you do with it (as long as it's not made default!).

"settings" at the very bottom of the 3D menu (as shown in the picture)
that's what gets you to the settings window

Under the condition of a tidy settings window i think it's a good idea to
    unclutter the the menu.

A "main settings overview" popup would be cool though, to make up for the loss
    of quickly checking the parameters.

Move often changed settings to root menu (FSAA, AF and CatAi + maybe something else) while move everything else to some other menu. Devs usually dig often used options somewhere where sun doesn't shine often and that really pisses me off. NVIDIA Tray menu was great but ATI's is still a disaster spaning over 3 submenus just to get to the FSAA controls. Yuck!

Thats a problem. What exactly should have "often changed" status? :)

I think it's better than the old separated OpenGL/D3D page.
