Yep, found them on Gamershell, but strangely none on nvidia site, anyway here are all kinds of versions 32bit, 64bitn, xp , vista you name it lol LINK to all versions

They are on nVidias site but only for these cards # WHQL certified driver for the following GPUs: * GeForce 9800 GX2 * GeForce 9800 GTX * GeForce 9600 GT * GeForce 8300 * GeForce 8200 * GeForce 8100/NVIDIA nForce 720a * NVIDIA nForce 730a The beta is running fine here on my 8800GTX so what gives? http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_174.74_whql.html
They make me mad.. they release beta with all cards. and not the WHQL one. got no problems with 8800gts 320 - 174.74 beta Stupid developers :bang: 4 months and no new official whql drivers ! FFS !
sry my mistake, lol i've should test them first :O... well i did just now and my gpu isn't supported :3eyes: so stick with beta version for now.
Ahhhh... nVidia and their dirty tactics. If only ATi was up on their game so that I could buy one of their cards and not deal with this driver maddness!
Yeah its another kick in the teeth for those who don't own a 9 series, as these are only WHQL'd for them.
Hey guys! I just wanted to ask as I down loaded these drivers (XP32bit) cause I have two BFG 8800GT OK 512's that are over heating and fragmenting. I guess I shouldn't expect a lot of an over clock from them. But wanted to ask if any one has a suggestion on better drivers? My highest is about (Rivatunner) 720/1000 have the shadders linked for now. If this is not the right spot to ask say, and I'll post a new thread for it. Any help, thanks!
I have to say that in relation to driver releases I prefer the way ATI does it, they may not be perfect but at least they support most of there graphics cards and have a regular driver release schedule. John
to me WHQL means trouble most of the time and those aren't even certified for our GTS/GTX variants so betas ftw if it ain't broke don't fix it lol oh and let me add the 174.74 betas are still some of the best drivers to date for me :nerd:
Pdf There PDF shows fixes for my 8800gt among others...doesnt that mean they have just added the others as new boards that now also work with 174.74? Fixed Issues–Windows Vista 64-bit SLI Mode Issues • [SLI], GeForce 9600 GT, GeForce 8800 GTX/Ultra/GTS/GT: FEAR; Ghost Recon : Advanced Warfighter 2; Neverwinter Nights 2; Serious Sam II–there is horizontal flickering in the intro videos. Pdf I believe so... but my point is they work with 8800 series and down also. the PDF from the NVIDIA site for these drivers came out today also.the driver is there now.and is whql. and has just now finished dloading....more later....
Just take the nv4_disp from the beta 174.74 and put it in the extracted 174.74 WHQL,and will work on any card...:biggun: I'm using it right now.
The unofficial betas contained nvucode.bin, which is responsible for H.264 decoding, whereas the official betas don't.
So you can use the betas instead. They are absolutly identical... except for the WHQL certification. (which is gone, when you do something to the INF ;-) The nvucode.bin is only for G80... 8800GTS320/640/GTX... to fix the damaged VP1. But these cards are not supported in the WHQL ones... so there is no need for this file. Even for 9x00-Users... the whql changes NOTHING to the betas! Razor
I modded the INF for the WHQL on the nVidia page which is only listed for 9 series stuff 174.74 windows XP. Works great. Good framerates compared to Forceware 169 I was using before
