RivaTuner 2.07 approaching

    are you sure both fans change. you might want to check by using a different program to check the temps. rivatuner doesn't show the right info for both cards, and setting the speed under the fan control area only sets the fan speed for the top card on the MB. not sure why but it doesn't show the right temps for bottom card to. Just the top card temp is right. Use something like HWMonitor after you set the speed in rivatuner and you will see that only one of the cards temps change. i will not use ntune ever again after the problems i ran into with it so when 2.07 is out it will be nice. i have tried changing the fan speed with all builds 2.0 and up.

    i can hear one spin up and then the other as i adjust them each to 90%. go to the main tab and use the top drop down arrow to switch between displays to set each one seperately. trust me, both my cards are adjusted. :)

    wow thanks it worked never knew if you switched the card there that that was the way to do it. thanks man. nice raising it dropped my idle from 71c to 52c

    Just a small update on 2.07 progress (or lack of it). Unfortunately 9600 sample still has not arrived, so don't expect new version release during closest 2 or 3 days.

    Well that sucks that you are unable to continue work because you are waiting on some hardware. But it will be worth the wait as it always is, a few more days or even a week for your great program is just fine with me. Take as much time as needed, we will wait for you to be ready to release it.:)

    I guess that it is time to stop waiting for it, my 9600 sample seem to be lost during transporting and I don't think that it will be delivered (yes, Russian post SUCKS). Waiting for one more sample from different vendor will delay the release roughly by 2 more weeks, so it is not the best idea too. So my apologies to everybody for useless release delay.
    It looks like I'll still release 2.07 on Monday with limited 9600 support. And 9600 owners will have to wait a few months for complete support in 2.08, I hope that I’ll get a sample till that time.

    BTW, RT works great for me, no issues. I should say in regards to the OSD hotkey issue. ;)

    please,Unwinder can you tell me when rivatuner 2.07 will be out?

    and i have seen rt 2.06 does not have the device id strap function for 8800gts512.

    can you bring this feature back in the new rt2.07?

    Not earlier than I get any G9x based sample. Currently NVStrap doesn't support any G9x GPUs and it won't change in 2.07.

    Damn, that's good example of Murphy's law: my 9600GT has just been delivered. After 2 weeks of waiting for it, just a copule hours after I decided to stop waiting for it and released 2.07 with no full 9600 support declared. :)
