Caughs - Don't choke man I didn't lie though. China's Eazo is willing to a pretty nice gaming rig .. for only $45500 but hey. The distinctive machine features a 3GHz Q9550 Core 2 Quad two NVIDIA 8800GTX...

Pfft...whatever...don't get me wrong I love building computers and more to the point a i'm gaming enthusiast so a rig like that just gets me drooling like you wouldn't believe. However....and im sure that most peeps around here willl agree that there are a helluva lot better (read higher level of importance in the grand scale of things) things to spend 45k+ in one shot on then a computer :p
And as Ultima pointed out, that rig is so ridculously over priced it's unreal. One thing tho Ultima, id refrain from posting links from the Inquirer especially around here...suffice to say it's not well liked and some tend to get a bit fired up over it.

Hmm, I guess most people around here can build 10 systems with those specs and still have some money left. Yup, easily one of the most overpriced stuff I've ever seen.

If it's so expensive it must include an Optimus Maximus keyboard :D

:eek3: the spec shud be way better for $45,000 id expect no less than the QX9650 overclocked, 3x 8800 Ultras, 8GB Ram and at least some sort of dual Raid 0 setup plus the best Sound card and all the rest of it plus a couple of wtf x wtf res monitors, and then a half decent car to ferry it around to LAN events lol

We're not missing anything, but obviously who ever is trying to sell a 3000 US$ for 45,000$ is!!!

Damn thing doesn't even look that cool..... :3eyes: . I'd understand if that computer was being projected on an IMAX. Now that'd be cool!

For that kind of money i could easily get a car and a new system with the ability to upgrade for the next 2 years.

    Damn.......ridiculous price.

It's just about seeing how far, far can get.

Funny thing is... people will talk about it for a bit, then it's yesterday's news. Just like Victoria Secret's Multi-Million dollar bras. Yeah.... it can be done, but really... who cares?

    yup! "because more ££ = better" :)

If you think, there are plenty rich people with no sense in computer hardware, and from seeing this price tag would probably buy it
